That's actually the most eye-rolling comment I've read in this whole thread so far (which out of respect for the thread topic I will stop discussing as well...unless it crops again because sometimes I can't resist responding to misinformation).

This Dolby Vision stuff is only going to get more nauseating when people who have lower-spec TVs get the Dolby Vision update and start saying what a massive improvement it is, assuming everyone "stuck with" HDR 10 is seeing what they used to see. We aren't, because our TVs meet HDR 10 spec. Now YOU are seeing what we ALREADY saw. Yet that fact will be drowned out by the Dolby Vision hallelujah.

Grumble grumble grumble...

A limited version of it at least. They're not going to be seeing 1000+ nit highlights on a 500 nit TV even with DV.

Has anybody picked this up and it was missing the Digital Copy? I picked up the last copy from Best Buy at lunch, just opened it up and the insert isn't in there.

5/5 for 4K video.

Don't let that geek "TheSweetieMan" see this review. He's going to be cutting more than an emo kid during a depressive episode.

Wow that's a glowing review. Unlike most movies on UHD BD, the increased resolution is the main upgrade here (along with the more accurate colors), rather than the HDR. That will be the norm I believe on most pre-DI catalogs that come from a good source.

Really disappointed by the lack of extras. Really, they couldn't even include a 4k or HD trailer?

Is Eastwood approval really a mark of quality? I mean, yeah, he directed it but the man's lost his mind recently. He talks to chairs now.

Seriously, can you stop trying to subtlety interject your political views all of the time?

It's a joke. Lighten up. Plus, you don't know my political beliefs. You don't know me, period.

At least be honest about it. Oh I know them and so do others. Be respectful of forum rules.

This site has always been about the resolution increase and doesn't like HDR on catalog titles. It's a good sign they rated it this good to me

The weird, random halo effect on things like the windmill automatically disqualifies it from 5 out of 5, but it is a very strong UHD title in its own unflashy way.

Nearest Best Buy was sold out, yet there must've been more than 8 copies of every other UHD release.

Apparently not. That would mean separately scanning the trailer (which the elements wouldn't be in great shape anyway) so why would they honestly spend the money to do that?

Even with inherent compression due to streaming, it looks fantastic.

I can't see myself going out of my way to buy the 4K Blu-Ray since the HDR10 version probably won't be as good.

I think as others have said it depends on both the movie and display as to how big of a difference DV vs HDR 10 is. On this movie its not going to be as big of a difference. On Pan which was the example used at hdtvtest a bit more.
On Pacific Rim, Oblivion or Suicide Squad, even more so.
