As long as the movie is not stolen, and when you post for sale, you specify that it is a custom cover, I don't see nothing wrong with it. What is wrong is to sell just covers on their own, since it is copyrighted material. The studios frown upon "that".

Does anyone know of a good cover site, whether a pay site or free, that has a large selection of original cover art? I have a few titles I bought quite awhile ago without artwork so I need the original cover art.

Ayone have Robocop 2 and 3 so I can seperate them? 9covers has them but not gonna pay $20 for 2 covers. For that amount I can buy the 2 discs seperately and sell the disc inside.

Started work on a custom cover for American Psycho. So far it is just the cover and spine but I liked it so much already that I decided to post it. More to come soon.

WiP Jurassic Park trilogy. May make separates for each movie as well.

Before I put this one to bed, what cover will house three blus, and what would be the dimensions (px)?

I don't know the exact dimension numbers off hand, but a 3-disc Elite case is the exact same dimensions as a standard 1-disc Elite case. So if your cover is already formatted for such a case, you should be all set.

Nice cover, by the way! I like how the JP logo on the front looks like it's kind of embedded in the group with the fossils.

Thanks. I'm all set, then. This was a conversion of this VHS cover:

I scanned it, merged the front, spine and back and replaced the logo with the one I scanned from my Lost World Laserdisc.

Working on this already. I may wait till it is released to scan the new artwork on the pages of the complete set to use for cover art if its as good as I hope.

The correct dimensions are as follows...

Viva Elite 1-3 Disc Case
10 & 9/16" x 5 & 7/8"
3170 x 1760 pixels (panels = 1520 each, spine = 130)

I suppose they're finished. I kept the backs open for anyone who wants to take these further. They should all fit a Viva Elite 1-3 disc case.

Trilogy version:

Jurassic Park:

Lost World:

Jurassic Park 3:

PM me for High Rez versions.

Nissen, where did you get that Jp cover? Cause that's actually a pretty cool VHS cover.

Very nice JP covers! If Universal uses the same packaging they did for BTTF (which is really 50/50 given that it's the same type of set, but they did eventually change the packaging), I know what I'll be doing.

Here are 2 sets of custom Superman covers I made to go inside my UK box. I used two 3-BD cases plus a 2-BD case.

The first set has a plain background, and I printed these on silver paper:

Links: Cover 1, cover 2, cover 3.

The second set is closer to the actual box art (could be printed on white or silver paper):

Links: Cover 1, cover 2, cover 3.

I don't know how well 3 cases will fit into the US box, has anyone tried? They fit pretty well in the UK box, with just a little bit of extra space. The UK box is about 1/8" deeper than the cases, so I trimmed a piece of cardboard to insert inside, which also helped make it a little sturdier.

Let me know how these work for you, and if you have any issues with them.
