Last of the Buddies series came over a week late today thanks to issues with USPS. Happy Gilmore from Gruv came pretty quickly. Another one that I haven't seen since it was out in theaters, but it was time to revisit this one for two reasons. Besides the sequel coming out soon, my son and I are going to Steel City Con in Pittsburgh next month. Christopher McDonald and Allen Covert will host a Q&A panel where I know they're going to field questions about the movies along with whatever else people will ask. Should be a good time.

Haven’t bought many lately.

This represents my first Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray purchases of 2025! Budgets and time haven’t allowed more collecting but this definitely scratches that itch.

An absolutely massive lot today! First pic is ONLY stuff I bought secondhand from thrift shops. Second pic is stuff from Amazon and Shout! Factory.

Absolutely shocked to see so many Criterion Blu-ray releases at secondhand stores. Had to pick up everything they had. In fact most of them had very decent prices to each of them. A very good haul indeed.

A haul a few weeks in the making. Some of these fell off the grid after arriving at the Indianapolis sort center, and I had to alert the USPS. After a few days they were found, thankfully. Had me on pins and needles, though!

I had the same problem with one of my eBay orders last week that went to the same sort center. For about a week, it kept saying moving to next location but never updated. It finally ended up way north of where I live and I got it two days later. Glad you got your stuff as well!

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera 4K Ultra HD & The Wishmaster Collection were bought at Walmart

Megalopolis 4K Ultra HD Steelbook (Italian Release) was ordered via dvd-store.it

Last time I'd be near these stores for a while, so once again I looked for some movies higher up on my list. First trip was to Half Price Books to turn in a bunch of extra/unwanted stuff to help pay for the Pacific Blu-ray set and the Waterboy. Another Adam Sandler movie to rewatch anyway, and I don't feel like paying a ton to find an obscure Blu-ray copy.

Next store had two I've been looking for that are stuck in the Disney/Fox limbo we all know and love. Haven't seen Commando in over thirty years. For Quiz Show, with no US Blu-ray release this was a no brainer, and it's such a great movie anyway. Last was Spacecamp since this is one of my wife's favorite movies growing up and no way will I pay the asking prices for the Kino Blu-ray release ($6 each for this and Quiz Show was much easier on the wallet). All in all, some nice finds and some happy viewing for some of these soon hopefully.

Traded standard 4K editions of The Great Wall (sealed), Shazam, and Kingsman: The Golden Circle for the two Batman steels with a co-worker (Batman was still sealed to my surprise and Batman Returns is in excellent condition). Have the standard 4K editions of the two Batman films, but I’m going to do another trade involving them in the near future. Also, I do not collect Funkos but my daughter got me these on her vacation trip.

Have the first six MI steels myself, they look nice and cohesive together. I hope they release Dead Reckoning 1 and 2 to match, but I doubt that it will happen leaving an incomplete set unfortunately.
