Yeah, I agree. That was pretty stupid actually because that's the whole point of the save. They should change it up and bring out the save option around midway into the game, because if someone gets booted while there are 10 more others left, odds are people really don't like him anyway.

I think the judges believe Casey is top tier, and I completely agree. That kid is crazy talented and is my favorite on the show.

That is just my opinion of course and music is all about personal taste.

Awe the Casey haters in here! I was wrong and never thought he would be in the bottom 3 this soon for sure. He is top 5 in my eyes. Atleast the judges agree with me and didnt even need to hear him sing. Also once he was announced to go home, I told my girl immediately that he would be saved guaranteed. Then he started to sing and they stopped him and saved him immediately. I was very happy. What is wrong with America? They really need to change the system next year because this isnt a popularity contest. No way Casey is bottom 3 period as he is top 5 material here. Got Em!!

I agree with u 100%! The judges know talent and they know he is top tier and thats why he didnt even have to sing to get saved! Hopefully America take notes and vote the best overall singers and not who they like because of looks or popularity reasons. Casey moves on so Im good. Got Em!!

I think he deserves to be there more than Haley and Naima...but not more than anyone else still there, Karen that was kicked off, Ashton that was kicked off...hell even my boy Jovanny!

I'm not a regular viewer of Idol. However I have watched it off and on this time around and I said after last weeks show that the red bearded guy did the worse. Not sure what he sung but all I heard was loud music and screaming? Then this weeks show comes around and he absolutely butchered "I heard it through the grapevine" and wasn't surprised when he was picked to be sent home.

I was surprised that the judges saved him, what do they see in him that's better than a few of the others? I mean the point of the show is for people to vote the winner but if they vote someone off that the judges liked then they can say it doesn't matter?

I am going to go out on a limb here but I think lastnight was scripted television at its best..the whole night was one act after another and then then the judges stopping Casey, and then the over reaction....

Well obviously as u have just said in your opinion u think Jovany, Ashton & Karen are better than Casey but not to a lot of other folks haha. As I have said the judges agree with me and strongly so Im satisfied as they know real talent. Got Em!!

Surprised to hear Casey was in Bottom 3. He's not my favorite but when you still have Stephano and Nayema... That's just wrong.

Is it me or has the judging in this show become almost non-existent? I see performances that Simon would have dissected getting nothing but praise. It's disappointing. There should be a reality-check expert judge that tells it like it is, because Steven and J-Lo parrot each other and haven't had a difference in opinion once this season.

Yea its hard to ask for another Simon though. The only person I can think of would be his partner Pierce Morgan haha. I think J-Lo has been pretty good actually but Steven Tyler is super nice and as I have said before sometimes doesnt know what to say and just tells everyone they are good. I love him as an artist though and still glad he is on the show because he is a legend. Got Em!!

Hehe, yeah, I thought he was way too dramatic and silly - but, I'm a real calm, laid back person who's reaction to being saved would probably have been, "Cool. . . thanks".

I like Casey - but I see why he was voted off. Problem is - he started out as a real cool cat. Really smooth and funky, etc. - but ever since the season started, he keeps growling and singing like he's "angry". . . on every song.

When Casey "sings" - he's pretty fun and funky. He needs to find that again.

Anyway, glad the save was used - cause there are a couple other people that I feel are not as naturally talented. Casey might not be the "best" singer - but I'd rather listen to someone original than someone who simply sings well any day of the week.

Wow! Amazing performances tonight! Elton John has a lot of classic songs and it was great to hear the Idol contestants sing them. It's going to be tough tomorrow night. My faves: Paul's Rocket Man, Stefano's Tiny Dancer, and Haley's Benny and the Jets. Bottom three: Thia, Casey and Naima. Double elimination tomorrow night: Casey and Naima.

Scotty McCreery - Another very good country performance. He is pretty much consistent and par for the course each week.

Naima Adedapo - I always like her arrangements if nuthin else, but tonight was just ok for me. She could be in trouble.

Paul McDonald - He seems to be on par with what he does each week as well but I dont like him as much as before.

Pia Toscano - The next Whitney or Mariah I tell u. Fabulous tonight as always.

Stefano Langone - Very good performance for him but nuthin great.

Lauren Alaina - Tru star right here and outstanding tonight.

James Durbin - Rock star and he rocked the house tonight. Very good job.

Thia Megia - Another safe and boring performance but it was a good performance but forgettable.

Casey Abrams - I am still upset about how they tried to do my dude last week. He killed it tonight and is still one of my favorites.

Jacob Lusk - Tremendous as usual and nuthin more to say as yall already know what I think of this kid.

Haley Reinhart - I just dont care for her and it wasnt the best performance of the night but it was good I have to admit and she may be climbing up the ranks.

Naima Adedapo

There it is and it will be a tough night. I cant see anyone else in the bottom 3 other than Haley but I think she sang her way out of it as she did last week. They better not have Casey there again or I am gonna split some wigs haha. Got Em!!
