Question: I have the Kuro 151. I did the 150 hour break in and applied D-Nice's reccommend settings from AVS. I have only been really using the set watching movies for about 3 weeks now.
I really don't watch any regular TV at all. I turn the set on for maybe 30 minutes a few days out of each week and while eating dinner. I have noticed that most of the Blu-rays I have been watching have aspect ratios around 2.40:1 So obviously most of the time I am having the black bars across the top and bottom. I do have the pixel orbitor is set for mode 2. Do I run the risk of burn in watching a steady diet of movies with the black bars? Is the pixel orbitor enough or do I need to make a point to run more full screen content in between. |

I don't think you'll get burn-in from watching movies with black bars, but it may lead to uneven phosphor aging. Its always a good idea to put on full screen content from time to time, even if you don't watch em.

Gotta agree...a year or so down the line if you do decide to watch more TV with full screen material the uneven aging of the phosphor due to the heavy BD watching will prove to be problematic. Ofcourse if BD watching is all you are gonna do with it, then I wouldnt worry about it.

You need all parts. Then select all of them, then right click and select extract here. Make sure WinRaR is the program that is being used. |

Thanks! my only issue and its small, is the menu system on the sc07. the pro111s is great, easy to use while the sc07 is old fashion. coming from a 3808ci to this menu is requiring some getting used too.
