The seller is providing 1 year warranty. He's a titanium power seller at eBay. I'm still thinking if I will need the extra 3 year coverage. Square Trade is offering me for $139.99.

Question: I have the Kuro 151. I did the 150 hour break in and applied D-Nice's reccommend settings from AVS. I have only been really using the set watching movies for about 3 weeks now.

I really don't watch any regular TV at all. I turn the set on for maybe 30 minutes a few days out of each week and while eating dinner.

I have noticed that most of the Blu-rays I have been watching have aspect ratios around 2.40:1 So obviously most of the time I am having the black bars across the top and bottom. I do have the pixel orbitor is set for mode 2.

Do I run the risk of burn in watching a steady diet of movies with the black bars? Is the pixel orbitor enough or do I need to make a point to run more full screen content in between.

I don't think you'll get burn-in from watching movies with black bars, but it may lead to uneven phosphor aging. Its always a good idea to put on full screen content from time to time, even if you don't watch em.

Gotta agree...a year or so down the line if you do decide to watch more TV with full screen material the uneven aging of the phosphor due to the heavy BD watching will prove to be problematic. Ofcourse if BD watching is all you are gonna do with it, then I wouldnt worry about it.

WOW... 500M seems like a great deal.

I want a 600M or 60" Pioneer...

It's going to happen this week I think... if I find a good price somewhere.

Getting excited... can't type.

Dont know about that seller. But you can a brand new 600M w/ warranty from ebay for $2,777.00 shipped. You can also get $200 back by using bing. So final price is $2577.00 !

You need all parts. Then select all of them, then right click and select extract here. Make sure WinRaR is the program that is being used.

Thanks! my only issue and its small, is the menu system on the sc07. the pro111s is great, easy to use while the sc07 is old fashion. coming from a 3808ci to this menu is requiring some getting used too.

Just received my new KRP-500M. So far very impressed with the picture quality. I didn't know that this model does not have the "performance" mode. I have yet to do any calibration. Here's some quick shots: Yay I'm so happy!!
