Just watched Book Of Eli and Edge Of Darkness. Two really good films. So much better than what I expected out of them. I'm impressed with both of these movies. Very, very cool...

I agree with your spoiler.
[Show spoiler]I loved that scene. I almost cheered when she did that. She pretty much has no limits, which helps make her character awesome.

Ok...here's the thing...

I didn't realize it was 12:30, and Kill Bill started at 12.

I forgot to set it to DVR and it doesn't play again in the next two weeks, so I'll have to wait a while longer to see what I think of it.

...if it's any consolation, I lost track of time because I was watching Lost.

Dr. No - This was my first time ever seeing this film. Matter of fact I am starting my James Bond marathon as I have only seen like two or 3 Bond films overall. Encore HD channel has been doin a marathon so I have been recording them. I know about most of them just never seen many of them. So I started off at the beginning with the first film in the series and it was a decent film. It dragged at times but also had some good moments. It had some sexy chicks as I figure all the Bond films will have.

The film looked great on Directv so Im sure the bluray looks awesome. I think they concentrated really good on Bond films for HD tranfers. Back to the film, I also want to watch them all to see which ones are worth owning as Im sure I probably wont like every single one but who knows. So as I have said I thought this film was decent but I wouldnt buy it and I probably wouldnt watch it again. It was a decent way to start off the Bond franchise and Im sure the films will get better and better.

Film Rating - 3 stars (out of 5)

Grace - What the heck did I just watch??? This was listed as a comedy/horror! I found nuthin comedy at all about this film! This was a crazy arse film and I couldnt believe some of the things that took place. Wowsers is all I have to say. Some people sometimes go overboard with movie ideas and I am a horror buff!

Film Rating - 2 stars (out of 5)

Got Em!!

You haven't seen Vol. 1 or 2? You'll be in for a treat.

What station are you dvri'ing it off of? If it's on basic cable, then just rent them instead.

Nope, never saw them.

Off of TNT.

I'm not in any rush to see them, I just decided to DVR them when they play to let the guys in this thread know what I thought. I'll just wait until they play again.

They play on TNT quite often, I'm sure they'll play again within a month or two.

From Paris With Love

I was iffy about the movie at first, I thought it was just John Travolta having fun killing people for no real reason. I was glad to see he was actually a good guy in the movie. Good action flick, there was so many things though I saw in that movie that were just impossible. I have a hard time watching one man kill like 50 other guys with out so much getting a bullet in him. It's fun too watch but at the same time I'm like "No way.". But I thought it was good movie overall. I like John Travolta, he's always been a good actor to me and I think he did a pretty good job in the movie. Plus I loved the Royale w/cheese bit.

Well, at least you're checking out a different sort of masterpiece.

Next greatest rental: "Less Than Zero."

One of you guys reccomended this based on Robert Downey Jr's performance. He was quite swell in it; thank you for the reccomendation!

As far as the movie itself goes, it was generally alright. It's a little dated, especially with its soundtrack, but it was interesting to see RDJ's character and the corruption he experiences. Some of the drama was great. Settings were very interesting. But otherwise, it felt very average to me.

3/5 (entertainment: 3/5, story: 3.5/5, film: 3/5)

Wow, wished you put a spoiler on the
[Show spoiler]Royale with cheese
part. I haven't seen it yet and I had no idea that was in the film...

Please use spoilers guys.

Thanks. I hope I do too (obviously). I wish I had watched the red band trailers sooner because the theatrical trailer made me think the movie was just dumb, but better late to the party than never.

Any recommendations for what? Movies? That's way too broad--narrow it down a bit.
