I can see how some wouldn't like this film. Not every film is meant for some.

The dialogue is oftentimes laughable. The acting is mediocre at best, and in Guy Pierce's position, pretty poor. The action scenes aren't particularly well-choreographed. There is little emotional connection or character development, which is essential to the story. It felt like a mediocre tv movie. Its only saving grace was the fact that it was still relatively entertaining.

Wow I have to strongly disagree. This movie is excellent and one of my all time favorites. Caviezel was brilliant also! Hey atleast u checked it out. Got Em!!

Definitely a fair assessment of the film, I find Dr. No, most Bond movies actually, to be good but far from great. The 3/5 is spot on. Like most Bond films it has its cheesy moments but that is what makes them likeable in my opinion.

I KNEW this post was coming. But I expected a greater level of violence because I knew you dug this film a lot.

Riiiiiight...that's how I started off, but now I got them all on DVD and watched each one at least twice. I wound up liking the ones I didn't think I liked at first (including "Dr No;" and thanks to the lowry digital remaster, it looks like it was made yesterday!). I can't imagine my collection without all 22 Bond films! (or 23 if you cound "Never Say Never Again." I still refuse to count the old 1960s "Casino Royale" as part of it though).

THE PRESTIGE

Pretty good picture and nice soundtrack, movie was good but not the sort of film I would like to view multiple times. 7/10.

The Seventh Seal (Criterion)

Ok this has to be the weirdest movie ive ever took the time to fully watch. But after giving it my full attention i understood and appreciated its value and meaning. Very intelligent in the deliverance of this movie. A Knight (Antonius Block) that has lost his faith in god and the devil and is very curious to find out if any of it is real.

His partner who just see's 1's and 0's and its pretty hilarious and a very truthful but in a dark way. A very logical character and his handmaiden is beautiful BTW lol.

This movie has a sweet twisted ending and makes you think of religion deeply. I loved the movie and it ended perfectly, but i know there's things i missed i might catch it on a 2nd viewing or just watch the special features .

Now i do believe the only negative to this film is that character development was a little too much, making the film a bit boring at the beginning.

One more thing id like to add is that EVERY character in the movie is in relation to the people that you meet day to day. Very unique. The Knight(Questions God/Religion) His Partner(Believes in fate) The Blacksmith(Weak Minded) The Young Handmaiden (Deceitful) The Jester(Fully Engaged with his Beliefs).

Once again i thought the movie was amazing but if they spent less time on character development i would of gave it a perfect 5

I love watching that movie
Not the best movie around, but I really enjoy it.

Naw I wouldnt count that Casino Royale parody as one in the franchise, but I never knew about Never Say Never Again. It says its not counted as an official Bond film but it stars Connery so I would probably count that one. Got Em!!

I watched that on 4th of July for the first time in years and forgot how awesome it was, they really did a kickass job. I wish Emmerich could make films like that nowadays
