If, as some people say "everything come back into style," then how come we still say hello when answering the telephone? We haven't used ahoy to answer the phone since the late 1800s.

Why some people can't PM you back after they ask you something about a slip.You say you're interested, and ask for pictures. I take the pictures and send them to you. But I never hear back. If you don't want them. Just send me a PM saying you don't want them. But just don't ignore my PM's like they don't exist.

I can imagine that is annoying. While on the subject of the forum, I find it odd that someone can rate a gallery 0.5. I don't post my theatre set up for very specific reasons but I did put a few blurays in my gallery. Things like arrow's Dawn of the Dead and the steelbook of Skyfall. I know that doing so is never going to win massive ratings and such. I simply post them as I intend to put a few more special editions of certain films on there in the future. Why someone would give me such a low rating for that is beyond me. I wouldn't dream of doing that to another forum member, regardless of past conversations, disagreements etc..

I watched UP for the first time. Around the part when the flying house was caught in the thunderstorm, I broke for lunch. When I came back there was this crazy old guy in a blimp with talking dogs that could fly airplanes, and the dude with the house now had a chicken-thing called Kevin.

What the heck happen in the bits I missed?

And why was the crazy old guy trying to kill the bitter old guy?

After 9 years, I decided not to renew my website. With social services popping up in recent years, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, etc. it just seemed like a waste to continue to pay for a website. I can do pretty much the same thing I've been doing, but for free on those sites. My site will officially be closed on July 9th when it expires.

I ordered a B&N e-gift card yesterday and already used it up. When I checked my paypal just now the transfer still says "in progress"

ouch. last week i ate very very healty ... same next week. and no booze at all. but pills ... lots of pills.

I've done well the last three weeks,no fast food but went off the rails last night and ordered pizza and now that Chinese today.....and way too much drink....I want to cut that back also but the World Cup is on.....that makes it kinda impossible.

With Chinese food though, you always get full so fast even if you eat a little bit then you're hungry like 2 hours later.
