Tell me about it.
It was like, the one DVD not on the shelf (Boltz DVD shelf) with the rest.
The only way to get the Total Recall tin on the shelf with the others, was to put it back in the light cardboard house it came in (which I wanted to throw out, but had to keep it for that reason)

Even though I don't have a Dolby Atmos, I get ever more cranky when movies are released theatrically with a Dolby Atmos track and not released on Blu-ray with a Dolby Atmos track!

I like the design and will probably align up with the JP trilogy set. I still have my Total Recall *Moon* DVD release. I basically made a spot for unique packaging such as Total Recall and Reservoir Dogs gas tank tin

It could have been re-mixed for Blu Ray (like some Lionsgate titles) in DTS:X; although DSU should work best on the Pteradon sequence.

Yep, had that Total Recall tin. Sure it was a little tough to navigate, but with shelving/display technology at an all time high...I'm confident I can brave the troubled waters that are a round tin.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but the collectible bookend edition contains the round tin.

Could have, but obviously it would subvert filmmaker intent since they had the tools available and chose not to use them theatrically.

Assuming you kept the cardboard packaging it came in, it does look like you could just store it on your shelf like any other movie. It might seem strange when lined up next to regular releases, and you don't get to display it, but it seems like a practical solution as far as storage goes.

Don't know if it matters to you, but CinemaNow does not even offer Dolby 5.1 audio. If you have that audio system (or better), you might want to wait and see/hear it properly. (unless, BB changed the policy for this one film)

I did keep the carboard bit. Funnily enough, it didn't make the bloody fiddly tin any easier to open.

Default Jurassic World (2015) Best Buy pre-order

If you preordered it on BestBuy.com, so far online preorders don't appear to be eligible yet (they may be eligible later), as nothing on the preorders indicates you get a Cinemanow early access code.

If you preordered (more like prepurchased) in store, you can redeem the early access code on your receipt on http://us.cinemanow.com/redeem

The difference currently between preordering online vs prepurchasing in store is that you pay in advance in store and then receive the code for the early access copy. When you pick up the physical copy, the $19.99 you paid in store for the early access copy is then applied to the value of the physical copy.

Since codes issued are nonrefundable, if you don't pick up the physical copy in store by the end of November you then basically paid for just the digital copy.

Best Buy does not own nor operate Cinemanow anymore (but they are still partners).

While I am a fan of Jurassic Park, I have no idea if I'm going to purchase this one. Saw it in theaters--total popcorn flick--but I wasn't wowed by it. Seeing Chris Pratt just made me think "Guardians of the Galaxy" and I expected him to dance in front of the raptors. I expect it to be a good transfer and all but the film itself will never hold a candle to the original.

Target was supposed to have a exclusive with bonus content. But it was delisted and relisted with a different title (indicating Limited Edition rather than Target Exclusive). The listing's temporary cover still indicates bonus content and the listing's description still says Target Exclusive.
