Arrow hasn't announced a barebones special edition for Trick 'r Treat yet, so you should still get the Limited Edition.

Hope you're right. But, the more likely scenario would be having to approve a delay for a month or so, until it eventually auto-cancels, which is what usually happens when target's distributor can't get more.

I've got Trick 'r Treat backordered as well but I haven't gotten any of those nagging emails yet to approve the delay...

Though in the process, I think the film/tv industry did irreparable damage to de-valuing their products and making them entirely disposable in the eyes of most consumers. It'll be interesting to see how this evolves, but you can really see the business model of theater releases and revenue from small films all coming apart at the seams.

It really remains a question whether streaming is actually "better" for the industry, and whether the model is conducive to growth. Thus far, there are good reasons to be speculative.

And really, it feels these moves have all helped only to make movies less and less relevant in people's lives. Heath at Cereal at Midnight routinely talks about this and I think he's onto something.

Sucks that I can order Zodiac from Amazon and receive it tomorrow but we'll be waiting weeks for it from Target. I guess that's the price we have to pay to save less than $10

Yep, I have one sitting on my shelf from Amz (had it since release date) just in case the Target B2G1 one never shows up.

I’m good as long as the Target one arrives by Nov 28, so this better be the last delay!

The Target B2G1 is cheaper by a few bucks, but I’m still waiting on it. The Amz came on release date (was purchased as a backup) but is more expensive.

As long as the Target one comes by Nov 28th, I’m good (can return the more expensive Amz copy then).
