Adding some norwegian films to the database again. Just wondering something. Some of the movies are distributed by "Paramount Home Entertainment". On the list over studios I only find "Paramount Pictures". How do I add new studios?

As far as I know, only iceman or Deci can do it. I was hoping "Sony Pictures Classics" would be added as well.

If there is no confirmed cover art for a BD but Amazon or another retailer is using the movie poster as the stock image, would you want that to be used instead of the "Cover coming soon" blank image?

We sometimes , but not always, add movie posters (sometimes cropping out the fine print credits for a cleaner uncluttered image) and setting the temporary cover flag.


For retask: use Paramount Pictures, etc.

I did, I even uh, submitted again after it wasn't approved the first time, I wasn't sure what was going on because my ratty 2012 Target Edition scans were approved at the same time.

Oh and should I crop out the case for back scans or not? I've seen a mixture of backs with the cases and backs where they've been cropped down (along with the usual studio supplied perfect looking art).

I see we have Sony Pictures listed as a studio in the database. Would Sony Pictures Classics be added as well, or would that not be preferable? They seem to be a different line and the BD covers are identifiable by the SPC banner on top.

Do users get submission credits for uploading a BD cover picture into this thread and asking the mods to upload to the page in question, or are the credits only awarded if you upload via the "manage covers" tab within the BD film page?

I only ask as I always seem to have trouble uploading scanned pics (and yes I do uncheck the box) from my hard drive onto the site.

Via the "manage covers" tab within the BD film page, Please.

Sometimes site is slow but scanned pics are always welcome, if they got better quality than actual one. Don't upload covers larger than 1Mb, cause system will drop it. Just resize it, if they are bigger.

in Top Left corner click Manage Covers
uncheck Keep image (front or back)
look for your cover, add it and submit
