Even after seeing Slender Man, i'd still say Escape Plan 2: Hades is easily the worst movie i've seen this year so far.

I'm struggling to think of anything worse in the last few years.

It is very watchable, but it still failed to make the most use of it's potential. It's one I will watch again, but it's nowhere near the best of his DTV stuff.

I lost interest in Escape Plan 2 when Arnold dropped out. No Arnie, no me.

Glad I decided to sit that one out. I like Stallone, but nothing else about the movie appealed to me.

I wrote somewhere that Escape Plan 2 is the worst thing I've seen in years. Glad I'm not alone. I watched 80's so-bad-it's-good classic Samurai Cop tonight and that movie is honestly better made than Escape Plan 2.

Just looked at your recently added BDs and saw the Canon Ninja movies, so you're doing something right.

Compared to ESCAPE PLANE 2, SAMURAI COP is a masterpiece.

You just can't pass up Canon, Ninja and Sho Kosugi for $10.

I'm just waiting for 9 Deaths of the Ninja to arrive on Blu.

Speaking of Kosugi, I need to add another title to the collection.

They don't make them like that anymore.

No they don't and sometimes it saddens me greatly. But everything has its season. Unfortunately that season has passed.

But thankfully we have the Blu-Rays to enjoy over and over again.

Stallone basically pulled a "Bruce Willis direct-to-video" with Escape Plan 2.

The sad thing is that when its Stallone and Bastisa, it's actually not that bad, but man...that asian guy had ZERO screen presence and a total black hole of charisma.

There's plenty of Asian action stars of both sexes that could've played Stallone's protege and would've improved the film a little, but as is, that guy sucks a lot of potential energy out of the movie for me.

Anyhow, back on the subject of Van Damme, I got the Bloodsport/Timecop double feature coming and i'm looking forward to revisiting the former and seeing the latter in full for the first time.

Timecop is highly enjoyable, even if the mechanics of time travel in the movie are a little wonky.

That's disappointing.

Hopefully Creed II will be a return to form.

Unlike Willis he at least still seems interested in making good films here and there. I think this was just a check from China he couldn't refuse.
