My collection is still pretty modest 225, but I've been thinking lately of shaking up my organization style, from traditional alphabetical to theatrical release date. Does anyone else do this for larger collections? I already do this with some Bluray sub-collections (Disney animation, Pixar, & Studio Ghibli) and it works okay for those smaller collections. Just curious if it's worth the effort now.

Here is my blu-ray and statue collection. It's mostly Kotobukiya with some McFarlane and Transformers mixed in. I think it's really starting to come together. My blu-ray collecting focus is on Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, DC, and horror (especially Scream Factory).

I love those Ghibli figures! I've got 2 of them myself as decorations for my Japanese Ghibli blu-rays. Thinking of getting more of them! I actually had the Spirited Away one on order, but the seller accidentally sent me the Howl and Sophie one instead. Not that I mind, as it looks great as well.

Also today, I got the entire Inside Out set from Disney Infinity as decoration for the Pixar collection. Since the game is discontinued, these figures are selling dirt cheap now. Got these for like $6 each!

I live in Sweden, so I bought them from an electronics store over here.
EDIT: If you're in the US, you could always get them from Amazon, though they're quite a bit more expensive there than what I paid for them.

There's a couple of reasons. First, I'm a real stickler for detail, and many "fan covers" aren't designed to snugly fit the cases without wrinkling or moving. As such, I usually make my own...but my inspiration has drained over the last 2 years. Also, I don't have a printer of my own, and my sister's drains ink like crazy. I can't afford to give her an extra $200 for ink every month, and most office-supply shops are paranoid about copyright lawsuits. Plus, I've had a ton of trouble finding legal-sized photo paper; you'd think more places would stock it.

how come you are doing the different labels with the sets? consolidating some of the bigger box sets into a smaller box? buying used in the not original boxes?
