And you shouldn't care about your haul being "chick flicks". I'm with those who can't really abide that term as it is way too stereotypical. Look at my collection and you'll see quite a few. Good for you man for standing up for what you like.

Nothing wrong with chick flicks, I enjoy them. I know the ladies dig things like that, hell if I saw a girl buying a bunch of action movies that would catch my interest. Why shouldn't the opposite be true as well?

This is my haul from the last couple of weeks, and to be honest I'm pretty excited about it. Braveheart, Grindhouse, Insomnia, Kill Bill Vols. 1 & 2, Moneyball, Raging Bull, and Thelma & Louise are all additions via Best Buy's Trade and Save program, with Grindhouse and Moneyball being the only blus over $4.99+tax.

Ben-Hur, The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc. and The Princess Bride are all replacements; these four were stolen from me a few weeks ago when my siblings' house was broken into (my brother was borrowing them). Unfortunately, the Ben-Hur copy that was stolen was from the collector's set, so I now have an incomplete UCE, but I'll deal. Also a bit bummed that Amazon shipped a slip-less copyThe Incredibles, but I think I'll manage.

I've also picked up The Help, North by Northwest, and GoodFellas recently. Just watched NxNW and fell in love with it. With the exception of Moneyball, Grindhouse, The Incredibles, and Monsters, Inc., all of these additions to my collections were blind buys, which isn't generally something I did until recently. All but about 5 of my last 20+ blus purchased have been blind buys, but I'm pretty confident in the quality of the films I've picked up (some of the other blind buys include Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Citizen Kane, Let Me In, and more).







As an aside, I had been wanting Grindhouse for a long time but none of the stores I had been to had the slip, which I love. The store I was at earlier had a couple copies left with slips so I was glad to be able to pick one up. Also, I love the inside art for the case and decided to make it the outside art.

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll have a few more additions (likely The Ides of March and 50/50, as well as maybe a couple other cheap Trade & Save titles from Best Buy). Happy shopping everyone!
