Specs mention Dolby Vision and Atmos for Jurassic Park. Its the newer discs.

The more I think about this release the angrier I get at Universal. It`s pretty obvious now that the defects on this set will never be addressed. So everyone that spends £50 on this will have the honor of a glitch on the JP3 disc, DNR on the Lost World disc (which isn`t a defect but still a step down from the original disc) and what I`m even more convinced than ever a very annoying glitch in the Jurassic Park audio. Any improvemments on the Jurassic disc PQ really doesn`t make up for any of this. It`ll be interseting to see if Universal quietly address these issues with the upcoming releases with the JW Rebirth discs hoping we won`t notice. There no way I can watch Jurassic with the audio issue or JP3 with that glitch so I`ll be returning my set.

I won't speak for the sequels, but the original Jurassic Park footage in that video doesn't look anything like any of the prints I've seen, handled, or projected. Sadly people in the comments appear to be taking the scan's accuracy at face value and talking about how great it looks. Frankly, I think I'd take either UHD over the scan in that video as the 35mm scan ironically looks significantly more like video than either of them. The people posting these completely inaccurate and poor quality fan scans really aren't helping when they let people blindly believe they are somehow faithful to the look of even just those specific prints being scanned.

The scan that has most in common appears to be VickPS's one, and it's not even close. Just look at these comparisons that he posted earlier in this thread:

No. But it's Universal. Sooner or later they will re-release it in every possible configuration.

JBHiFi New Zealand & Australia websites are listing individual releases for each of the new Dolby Vision versions. They have ‘Newly Remastered’ written on the top of the front covers. Release date is is 8th Oct
