That is only if you want to be eligible for savings through competitive price matching the local stores around you. These typically only work for groceries, and never had I once got money back for Blu-rays.

If the receipt is older then 7 days, the only way to get receipt submitted is via the app if you are trying to get the IW work. The online site won't allow you to select a date that is older than 7 days. No matter if the receipt has eligible items or not.

One of the local Walmart stores had both The Purge and The Purge: Anarchy in the bin. Both of these movies were shrinkwrapped and appear as if they were opened before and had been repackaged, so I decided to skip buying Anarchy. Hopefully the other two Walmart stores will get these in stock, and will be in their original cellophane wrapping. Unless all other Walmart stores got copies that are shrinkwrapped lol

The copies I bought and all the other copies in the bin were like that. So it might be all of them.

Thank you for letting me know! If that's the case, then I'm going to have to just get one since I've been waiting to add Anarchy to my collection. Just hate the fact that they all appear to be resealed (and probably have been).

I bought a lot of the June 2016 titles during the week they started appearing in the bin, but none of them provided InstaWatch as advertised from their sticker. Through this process, I learned from another member here that re-scanning your receipts approximately 2-3 months later will provide you the InstaWatch copy. I have been testing and re-scanning my receipts once a week since I bought them about a month ago to see if it would work, but still no InstaWatch copy to avail.

Since Walmart's savings catcher app always brought up the same old receipts that I have scanned the first time during the re-scanning process, I thought that by scanning these to a new account, it would perhaps make a difference so I decided to create another walmart.com account just to test another method. I can verify that by scanning your receipts to another walmart.com account, InstaWatch copy are now available for most June 2016 titles! The only two that I can confirm that still don't work for InstaWatch are Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest For Peace (these two probably have yet been added to InstaWatch database for sure since all other titles that did not give InstaWatch now provided IW copy through scanning into another account).

If you don't want to wait around 2-3 months to re-scan your receipts, you can definitely try the method mentioned above and you should now be able to get InstaWatch movies for the ones you had already bought (as long as it was advertised for IW).

You can manually enter the number on the app as well. I always do that on my tablet (I presume it works the same on the phone.)

Savings Catcher is pretty great if you regularly shop for groceries at Walmart, but I wish it was separate from the Instawatch program.

Anyone had luck with any of the recent Warner Instawatch titles yet? It's been a month since I emailed VUDU about 2001 and The Raven.

It's always faster when scanned for sure. I had to enter it through the website one time and wasn't used to the non-instant gratification.

Everything I've rescanned have come through for me. I might go out and try Superman 3/4 tonight, if I don't get lazy.

I created a new Walmart.com account to test the re-scanning method, and the ones that didn't work first time around on my main account worked flawlessly on the new account. I did not link my VUDU account to the new account, but did receive an email for InstaWatch almost immediately after each scan. Troy is Director's Cut for both Digital HD code and InstaWatch.

Finally got mine to work (True Crime and Superman II: Donner Cut)! I think I was doing it wrong this whole time. After 1st scanning the receipt via Savings Catcher on 6/10/16, only Howard the Duck (of the 3 movies) showed up in my VUDU account. After seeing the posts about re-scanning and re-scanning the receipt, on a whim I decided to try using the scan tab at the top of the Walmart app tonight (7/8/16), and it worked! I was re-scanning it using the Savings Catcher part of the WM app and nothing was happening. Was that what I was doing wrong? Seems so obvious now....

I recommend purchasing the two Purge movies from the bin if you want them. I bought them both and yeah they have the shrinkwrap but both copies were in pristine condition with codes. No issues.

Yes, precisely. It behaves differently depending on how you "rescan" the receipt. But yes, the scan button up top right is what works the best for rescanning.

For $7.88 it's worth it even if it's a rewrap..a lot of the dump bin blus I've bought in the past have looked like rewraps and where fine.
