On sets that need it sure, let's see what happens with the zd9 patch.

Note that the UHD copy is region free. The included Blu-ray is labeled region A.

Got my steelbook in the mail. Huge dent on the bottom right corner. Only the second time I have received one damaged in the mail. The bubble envelope was in good shape. I was thinking it was a return from someone else and they just shipped it my way. Cant wait to watch it.

Opening titles up to the establishing shot of Egypt were super dim on my P65, enough to where I thought the TV wasn't picking up the HDR signal, but then the close-up of the kids in Egypt was full of HDR goodness and continued for the rest of the film.

Loved it!

No mention of the blatant ringing though, heh.

He mentioned it briefly, which I think is roughly what it deserves. I wasn't really distracted by it outside the blue lady scene, which is what he mentions.

Does anyone have any idea where I could order this online and receive with the slipcover? (I'm in the UK)

Only way to ever get a slip for sure is from a store where you can ask first, e.g. Ebay or whatever.

My store just got its first non-steelbook copies of this today and they came without slips. Buying one on eBay from a listing with a picture of the slip would be the only way to guarantee one.

I told myself i wouldn't buy the 4k version but they had at it at my local target for $20 and i just got paid so...my impressions are meh. Reminds me when I oversharpen a picture on photoshop or something. Has a worn-dated look to it. I have to take off my glasses to get a pleasing image. Clearly sony have second hand goods when it comes to the source. Way too dark in some areas, that pop and colorful environment of the movie just feels grungy now. Which can also be preferable to some people... Luc went alil over board with the gaumont blu ray release and its contrast (in really only two notable scenes) but it didn't look UGLY. I wish gaumont would create their own 4k version and blow this one out of the water. This release is definitely more detailed, but thats the only plus in my book

Just opened this release for tonight's viewing pleasure Love the black amaray cases. Used to be you could only buy The Hobbit EE BDs to get these Wait! They're putting stickers on the cellophane wrap now and not the cases?? Sacrilege! I won't have logic in my world!
