Might as well throw in another scene while we're talking about the movie...
[Show spoiler]Ron: Come on in for a dip girl.
Molly: Oh no, I don't even have a bathing suit.
Dylan: You can wear your underwear. It's just like a bikini it covers all the good sh*t.
Ron: Yeah underwear is fine.
Marnie: RON!
Ron: It's like what they did in the old days.
Molly: Underwear would be fine if I were wearing any.

And then later, at the dinner table, the other gal says
[Show spoiler]"Im not wearing any underwear" and everyone is like... Ewww. LMAO

Yeah, that was good.
[Show spoiler]I also liked the fact that while the ending with him running to get back to Molly and such was cliched, they put a nice spin on it with him also having to run away from his ex (aka the other gal).

I agree. Although I would have rated the movie lower (nothing wrong with you rating it higher), I did think it was a solid little movie. Yes, it probably helped that I am a big Kate Beckinsale fan.

Three Today

The Warriors
Film:3.5/5
This is a favorite of mine, but it's not that good. I love the idea and theme but the acting isn't so hot. Def a fun film and it's a classic!

Cinderella Man
Film:4.5/5
Absolutely love this film. Russell Crowe does a great job in this as do Renee and Paul. I love boxing and this is def in the top 5 no questions asked. Love the story, it was really heartfelt. The scene where Crowe is asking for money and puts his hat out.... it gets me every time.

The Other Guys
Film:3.5/5
I went and saw this today with some friends. It was ok. It wasn't one of the better comedies I've seen by Will but Wahlberg was good! It def had it's funny moments and most of them were ridiculous. The one liners make this film.

Sharp blows to the head seem to do the trick. Hot Fuzz does grow on me a lot, I may watch it shortly myself.

Piranha 3-D.

All i can say is this was just awesome.

The 3-D was kind of a let down, but a couple of shots of the Piranhas swimming about and being themselves made up for that hint hint.

The Sheriff/Mother was really cool when she got into action

4/5

Patton

Great film, initially i thought i was gonna get bored quickly because of the length of the film but i can say with a straight face i was into the movie just about the entire time.

On with the movie, Patton was one crazy ass general but in a positive way IMO. He will for perfection drove him to look like a mad man but i was all for positive results. Honestly we are missing that in today's military. I also thought there were parts in this film more memorable and funnier than Full Metal Jacket.

On another note bravo to the Transfer, it seemed flawless and really made the entire movie beautiful. Especially the opening scene, the colors were so vibrant and detailed. At the end of the day Im glad i purchased this film
[Show spoiler]10 Bucks at Walmart
and adding it to my war films. Highly Recommended.

4.5/5

One more thing, when it comes to the military of course Hitler was the most ruthless but i think Patton isnt that far behind him. He's Hitler with his sanity still intact!

Sleepers - First time viewing this film in a few years. This is a very good movie but kinda long. I felt it did drag in a few spots but the cast and story was very good and for the most part kept my attention. Minnie Driver is a cute chick who I kinda forgot about. I do recommend this film.

Film Rating - 4 stars (out of 5)

Got Em!!

State of Play (TV)

Director: Kevin Macdonald
Cast: Russell Crowe, Rachel McAdams & Ben Affleck

Film:4.5/5
This is a well put together film which I thoroughly enjoy. Ever since the day I watched A Beatiful Mind, I have gained a huge love for Crowe. He does act well in this but imo def not his best(not even close). Don't let that hesitate you though bc this has a really good story. If you are into government/suspense style films than this is for you.

Ben Affleck is really good in this. It is awesome to see where he has come from and to see what he is now(same for his bff Matty Damon)haha. But seriously I have grown a great respect for him over the years. I don't know/think he will ever be as good as Matt BUT I will say that he is def getting closer.

The pace of the film was really good. It was never slow to me or seemed like it dragged anywhere. I think the entire cast did a good job. It was nice seeing Helen Mirren and Robin Wright. I am a fan of both.

All in all I would say def check this out. It was most excellent.
