I did the same. Threw in Passengers 4K + 3D for free shipping.
But now that I look at it, I only own Beyond in 2D Steelbook form.. so maybe should have grabbed the 3D for $12 as well? Ah well... will wait for that one's 4K to be down instead. |

Amazon has been extremely slow to ship items lately. I have 3 orders that are just standing there waiting. I chatted with them the other day and they say it's because I used free shipping! There's like $300 worth of movies in those orders. Any one else having their stuff just wait in limbo ?

When I ordered the two Star Trek 4K titles, along with Kelly + Victor and Passengers 4K, only one of the Trek movies were out of stock, and it originally said my entire order was being held until May 8th... but they ended up shipping Passengers and Kelly + Victor to me on Friday and I received them yesterday.

Interesting. No, I haven't had that problem with any in-stock items. I usually order in-stock items with stuff I'm pre-ordering to get the free shipping and, of course, they will usually ship those to me right away instead of waiting for the whole package to be ready. My pre-order of Django Prepare A Coffin is sitting there because it doesn't look like they have it in stock yet even though today is release day.

Yup, this has been going on all this year, at least with the relatively few orders I've placed. The default delivery window now is 2 weeks, when it used to be 2-3 days in reality for in-stock items. Now in-stock stuff seems to sit for at least a week before entering the true shipping process, including the "preparing for shipment" BS process for typically 3 days. IMO this is a fake process where they think you're getting annoyed by now, so they have this phony stage where they won't let you cancel. This is not the same as the other/next phony stage of "shipping soon" (could be 1-2 days) and "shipping today" (could also be 1 or 2 days, I've had 3 days in this stage once this year). You can't cancel in any of these stages anymore (used to be able to in at least the first two). The Canada Post end happens in 1-2 days after that, so it ain't them.
