Not really. That number seems to be a vocal version of the digital assistant. You don’t get to an actual person. It still hasn’t turned up but the tracking is moving again so still hopefully. I appreciate your help though.

My edition of Popeye was despatched 2 weeks ago. No sign yet :-/

I'm hoping it's volume of post, but it's still a long time.

Mine arrived yesterday as has a few other late Wow orders. Just the UK postal system grinding to a halt recently.

Christmas season. Like every year they can`t keep up. The volume of packages increases every year while personell is downsized

Why buy together. Anything under £15 is still tax free until end of year.

I bought a load of films from Allyourmusic eBay store in one order as they were running a buy 2 & get 15% off the order promotion. There was no customs fees or anything when I received my order last week. I ordered another couple from them last week too so I might stick with them for any movies over the Wowhd £15 threshold.

A fair warning for those ordering Popeye. Unlike most Paramount release, it is not region free.

Annoyingly I had ordered two copies, one for myself and one for a family member. Thankfully she is American so she can send the copy back home and likely has a US iTunes account to add the digital copy to but mine is annoyingly locked and the only way I can watch region free content is by ripping it and putting it on a memory stick.

My Popeye arrived this morning, annoyed that it's locked as it would have been a present. Can't give locked BDs as presents!

Unusual for Paramount.
Presume that means they only have North American rights.
Others locked include Gladiator and Braveheart where Universal and Fox own overseas.

There's more locked Paramount titles than people suspect.

That's because Disney own it outside the US, though I can't see them ever upgrading their 17 minutes shorter cut of it from their vanilla DVD.

as with the post below yours, the 2 blu-rays i want are in the buy 2+ and get 15% off so if i can get them both sent together to get the 15% off and not have to worry about customs on this side i will do it instead

They do a lot of joint distribution deals, so things like Arrival, Interstellar, The Wolf of Wall Street, the new Terminator and others mentioned get the lock.

Shame they locked Popeye, as I can't see Disney knocking it out anytime soon like Aclea said.

Has anyone used WowHD's expedited shipping recently? I ordered the Lord of the Rings 4K boxset with expedited shipping last weekend, so that it arrives before Christmas in Germany (the WowHD help page states that expedited shipping only takes 2-5 days).
However, the shipping method noted in the shipping email (Worldmail DelCon DDP) is the same as another order a couple days earlier, which I ordered without expedited shipping. It also has a similar RRD.... tracking number, and I did not see any differences in the tracking page also.
What's going on here? Has WowHD mistakenly shipped this with non-expedited shipping? Do expedited and non-expedited shipping have similar tracking numbers and the same shipping method name, but my order will still arrive in time? Or do they use the same 2-weeks-plus shipping no matter which type of shipping you select when ordering?

Finally received my missing item from Nov 21st and 2 from Nov 26th today

Waiting for 3 more (22nd & 2 from 26th).

Still somewhat ok considering the postal services are a complete
nightmare before Christmas.
