There's several opticals in that opening sequence for the location title and subtitles, the grain always looks a bit mushier as a result. (Yes, even though the subs are player generated the 'clean' versions of those shots are still derived from a dupe.)

Had the complete opposite feeling on my ZD9 though, the grain in this is far more refined than on Starship Troopers to my eyes.

Dude, you've only been a member for a couple of months. We need more time to get to know you. In the mean time, use some of these

This for me, is the very best Sony catalogue Sony remaster.

The grain has a different quality to it for sure and there's TONS more detail in ST vs GB which always helps those kinds of impressions, but the interiors are still stupendously grainy on ST to my eyes.

Got round to watching the 4K disc tonight and thought it looked fantastic. The grain was beautiful and the film is the best I've seen it look without a doubt. Incredibly happy with this one especially at the bargain price.

If Wonder Woman & Leon triggered them, f*** knows what this would do.

I take their opinions with a grain of salt.

Default Question for those who got this at BB the first week it came out:

Did anyone receive the bonus 250 reward zone points you were supposed to get when you bought this UHD? It was only during the first week of release so if you bought it after you wouldn't get this offer.

I have yet to receive mine and I bought this on September 19; may be time to contact BB customer service and get that taken care of...

It was a pre-order bonus, not if you just bought in store on release week I believe. I got my points about 2 weeks after mine shipped and I pre-ordered. I even took a screenshot of the offer in case they didn't give me the points.

Hmm, pre-order only? I could have sworn reading the fine print online that it would qualify if you bought it on release day. I'll check anyway and go from there, thanks!

Anyone else notice the audio error at the 1:29:36 mark?
The Michael Ironside is yelling but no words are heard...

It's a continuity error. It's always been there.
