[Show spoiler]

It's common practice for studios to treat films the worst in their home country, whether that be quality or packaging

I'd still rather pay $15-20 for just the first one

That $60 price tag is tempting me even though I really don't want World in my set and could take or leave III.

I really like both extra scenes in the TV version and the opportunity to see more Postlethwaite is a big reason why. Had no idea who he was when I first saw TLW as a teenager but his performance nonetheless always stood out to me as the most memorable in the film.

Would love to see branching allow us to include those scenes if we'd like. Besides making already thinly developed characters even more one dimensional, you lose the film's best line when they're cut:

Edit: Whoops, I think that's one in the final cut. Haven't seen it for a while. Still love the deleted boardroom scene where you get to see more of the smarmy young Hammond, must have gotten those two scenes mixed up.

When folks say they would just rather have certain ones but not the whole collection:

The entire trilogy is my childhood. So I must be one of the few that is actually fine with owning and watching 2 & 3.

$60.97 at Bullmoose. Saves me $3.60 in taxes if I buy from them.

I think there are enough set/single purchasing options to please everyone. It just depends on what part of the world you'll have to order from. Still no price drop on the Best Buy 4k steel book collection as of yet, unfortunately.

There are? Where can I order JP1 as a single purchase? So far I've only seen it offered by Zoom.uk as a steelbook, but they don't offer international shipping.

I remember seeing Jurassic Park III in the theater. I think I was a senior in high school. My friend and I started laughing uproariously when
[Show spoiler]the kid came running out of the forest covered in leaves or whaever, somehow still alive after all that time.
We kept laughing all the way through, including when
[Show spoiler]the raptor talks (!) in Grant's dream, and especially the ending when the military magically shows up on the island based on one incredibly vague phone call to Laura Dern's character.
Wow. What a terrible, awful film. I am all for mindless fun movies, but Jurassic Park III was downright insulting to the intelligence of the audience.

Unless they intentionally set out to make a comedy, Jurassic Park III is definitely one of the worst sequels, and movies in general, I can think of.

If that winds up being the only choice for JP 1 4k you can always get in on a group buy. You can also wait a few months when the movies will most likely be released solo.

I'm with you on that one. The first one is classic and should be sold as a single. But I noticed that JW 1 is on TV a lot. In fact my wife was watching when I got home from work last night.
