I agree. It embraces the fromage, and it's an enjoyable film for its complete shameless dedication to being absolute nonsense. As a Batman purist it breaks my heart on a certain level, but if I try to be as fair as I possibly can, B&R is gold... or at least diamond.

I recall there was talk way back when (prior to Nolan being approached by WB) of Clooney wanting to right the wrongs of B&R. By that time he'd recovered from the mauling he faced after B&R and his career was in a great place, and he suggested the oft-mooted Batman Triumphant, where it would be revealed that the events of B&R were a toxin-induced nightmare caused by Scarecrow. Subsequently, the tone and style of the proposed BT film would be closer to the earlier Burton films yet with an older Clooney Bruce / Batman recovering from the toxin and tracking down Crane. That would've been amusing yet also very cool to see IMO. Talk about a retcon, but I wouldn't have said no.

Lucio Fulci's films are misogynistic, pedestrian, and laughable. The Beyond might be the most unintentionally funny movie ever made.

I’m waiting for stvn1974 to make one of his always entertaining Nolan comments.

I remember leaving the theatre thinking we were going to get another film and the franchise went into deep freeze till 2005.

That's how I feel about the Star Wars Holiday Special. It's written in late 70's variety show hieroglyphics that only few can appreciate. It's a unique product of its time.

Exactly! The movie is definitely a swing and a miss as far as what it was trying to be, but it makes getting it wrong seem like an art form. It's something that can't be replicated intentionally. It's like the movie was made by someone that saw neither of the first two movies and only knew about the Adam West Batman. It's great!

Even Don't Torture A Duckling?

As a fan, even I cannot deny that Fulci has made some crap, principally in his later years.

I agree completely, yet strangely I own most of his films on video. Also - and this is even stranger - I'd never reach for the check if I was having dinner with someone who despises Fulci. Bizarre, yeah?

2001 is trash. 2010 is the worse movie ever. Pearl Jam is the stupidest thing anyone should subject their ears and brains too, but that's just my opinion.

Predator 2 is every bit as good as Predator. And, Predators is just as good as both of them.

Poltergeist 2015, even if redundant and unnecessary, is actually an enjoyable little movie with some nice performances by Rockwell and DeWitt.

I wanted to love it so much but the woman who played the mother in it was TERRIBLE!!!! Every second she is on screen I want to tear my eyes and ears out. Truly terrible acting.
