Not even a separate 4k of returns, what crap. I know it's got plenty of flaws but it's got some great scenes.

After this there are few DC live action films left for them to reasonably do 4K releases for. Perhaps Superman Returns would come in a wave of releases alongside films like Constantine, Green Lantern, etc.

So, we have still not determined yet if this set will include Returns or not? If it does - I might just get the Boxed set and promptly throw out 3 and 4. Just keep 1,2 and Returns.

. Otherwise..... ugh....

Day One we didn't know. It wasn't listed in the Deadline article at all. It just said "5-film collection".

K, got it. Hmmm. So, I’m buying a boxed set for really only half the contents. Ugh. Have to see what it costs then. I never bought the 2018 4K of Superman due to the iffy transfer so this set has to have a better version of that film to help sway me.

Since he first said it was coming, Jim Bowers/CapedWonder has maintained that Returns would not be included.

He always said it was only the theatrical cuts + The Donner Cut of II, and corrections to the original 4K. Pretty sure he actually told people not to get their hopes up or expect other alternative cuts.

You might not be aware of this but Christopher Reeve actually reprised his role of Superman in two more films. Crazy, right!? The films are as follows: Superman III (Richard Lester, 1983) and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (Sidney J. Furie, 1987). Hope this helps! x
