A friend and I watched the Skynet edition the day I bought it last week. Normally we laugh and joke constantly at the movies we watch (without ruining the movie), but we didn't utter a sound for the last fifteen minutes of it. I absolutely loved the Skynet edition's PQ/AQ. |

Patrick Bateman speaks with wisdom.
Look, until Cameron decide it's time to do a 3D version (which I read he wanted to in an interview on the web), Skynet version will keep us from going T2 cold turkey. Enjoy it for what it is ! PS : Skynet IS Cameron approved remaster... |

I picked Skynet ed. up yesterday and it played nice with my PS3. I thought the PQ was better than expected...definitely a huge upgrade from the extreme dvd (This is the first BD of T2 for me). The menus are a little confuzzled at first, until you play around with them.
The only extra feature in the way of docs is the pip feature. I still don't know what to do with the BDLive. It is nice to have all 3 versions on 1 disc though. If you're a T2 fan, Skynet ed. is the way to go. |

Question to US-members: as far as I know, T2 SkyNet Edition should come with a slipcase. Is this one of those 'limited run' times or is the slipcase available on all copies (or almost all, like with Ratatouille)? I am thinking about ordering a copy from amazon.com - worried about chances of having the slipcase or getting ripped on that part?

Also, a question for UK Skynet owners - I heard that on the USA version, when you put the disc in, it zooms in on a map to where you live, or something like that. Does the UK version do that too? Sounds kind of cool! Looking forward to my birthday in a couple of months, when I should hopefully get a few Terminator blu-rays!

I bought this movie and I'm very happy with the picture quality. I actually bought the original release and the Skynet edition and decided to stay with the new release. The only problem is that the menu extends pretty far out, so when I select the menu option, all the tabs are cut half way and I can only read the lower part. Is this adjustable?
