I'm the exact same way - can't stand the taste, no matter what's added to it, but love the smell. I think it's the second-best smell to wake up to, behind the smell of frying bacon. (mmmmm.... bacon....)

Tonight I went to the third one of the big movies I meant to see, Jurassic World, with Avengers and Mad Max being the others. I may not be going to the theatre here again because the sound sucks. The picture is okay, but I've got better sound here at home. I wanted to go to the new Terminator movie but doubt I will now. If I lived in the cities much of you do, the ones that have the big theatres with the kick ass sound systems, I'd go to many more movies. I won't be participating much in the movie threads now cause I'll always be waiting for movies to hit Blu-ray.

Just finishing up the incredible ASM2, about to have some lunches I usually don't make but really enjoy nonetheless. Looking forward to dinner and a movie with my father later.

I was just talking to the driller that I'll be coming in early for and realized I'll be doing quite a bit of nightshift. 6 out of my next 8 weeks will be spent up here on n/s.
It's great that we get so much daylight here during the summer months. 19 hours of sunlight and the sun isn't below the horizon very far so it doesn't get dark. If this were winter, the opposite happens and 6 weeks of n/s would be brutal.
So it's all good!

I just saw the funniest thing down at the CVS. I was in there getting something. I was at the checkout. I was paying for my stuff. When these 3 teenage girls. Who looked rather young.

Anyway they walk out the store and it beeps. The Cashier was like wait one second to me. And she went out the store and asked the girls to come back in. So the girls come back in. She calls the manager. The manager comes over. The cashier goes their bags didn't beep when they came in. Only when she tried leaving. So the manager looks through all their bags. She eventually finds some stolen goods in the bags.

She goes to the girls I'm gonna have to call your parents. Then the one girl runs, and the other girl tries dragging the third girl out the store with her. But she doesn't move. So the second girl is there with the third. I think the first one bolted out the store. The manager was like it doesn't matter if you tried running. We have you on camera.

I just thought that was so funny. And this was all going on directly in front of me. These are some damn stupid girls. I mean if you were going to steal some stuff. Don't come back into the store knowing what you did. Not that I condone this. But if your outside, you run! Don't come back into the store. They should know they will want to search your bags and find something. Not like they will be like you steal anything? and they say no. and then the manager lets you go. The generations really do keep on getting dumber and dumber and dumber. lol.
