the lead guy's Michael Cera impression was annoying. movie was lame

I really liked the movie. I personally thought Superbad was way overrated and not that funny(I hated the McLovin/cop scenes), so I'm glad this wasn't anything like that.

I never saw the ads for this flick, so I didn't go in expecting a comedy. It's basically a low key coming-of-age dramedy. I do think it would've felt more realistic had the main character been a high school grad instead of a college grad, but he was also portrayed as a bookworm and a hopeless romantic, so I guess I can accept him being that way at 22 years of age.

As for the disc itself, the transfer was ok. It did look grainy and a little washed out at times, but I think it was shot that way intentionally. The audio was mediocre aside from the fireworks scene.

I actually love both this and Superbad, which may be odd, but oh well.

As far as the disc goes, it was meant to look like that, so most of the faults (if not all) are because of the director. It didn't bother me at all though because I knew it was supposed to look like an 80's movie. I think the disc does about as good as it can with the source. I agree about the audio, but that didn't bother me either since the dialogue was always easy to hear.

i was hoping for more...I'm not a fan of Kristen Stewart. I thought the movie was just OK....

I really enjoyed this movie and it definitely has some replay value in my opinion as well.

I just noticed that my copy has some French on the cover. Everything looks the same as the cover shown here, but under "From the director of Superbad" it says the same thing in French. Weird.

You probably have the Canadian release of the film (which is Region A also). Did you buy it from an Amazon Marketplace seller or something?

I was contemplating ordering this movie from them in the future. Now I'm re-thinking it. Those bilingual covers bother me.

Really enjoy this movie. The only thing that always irks me is the video quality rating/review here at blu-ray.com. I think it looks much better than it is given credit for. In fact, Adventureland belongs to one of the better looking in regards of video quality in my collection. It deserves 4.5/5, or at least 4/5.

Anyone else's copy of this release have a really weird looking disc? It's kinda blurry and hard to read the small text on it.

Yep, mine's the same way. The discs are just poorly printed. Don't worry, it's not a bootleg.

Interesting that Jesse Eisenberg appeared in Adventureland and Zombieland (another good film) in the same year. 2009.

I kind of wish Adventureland had gotten a sequel, but I don't know how it could of continued.
