Very easy process! The lady was very pleasant and knew just what I was talking about. She just had to take a second and make sure I could do it from Canada - which I could.

Kudos to WB on this - very impressed!

All you have to do is give your info, where you bought it, and the UPC and they'll send it to you. Unfortunately, people take advantage of this kind of situation.

It seems I've lucked out... I just checked my disc, and it's fine. I was a little nervous after having read this post.... I wasn't even aware that there was a problem with the disc.

I will have to check my disc if it's faulty but if it is, can I get a replacement considering I live in Europe and imported it from the US?

I bought it on the marketplace as well. I just said I bought it on Amazon. I bought it new, anyway. Not sure it really matters where you bought it all that much.

I haven't noticed any probs with my disk while watching in the past but I'm going to check it out when I get home tonight, now that I know what to look for.

My lady was the bomb! She was really nice to work with and had it recorded that I did a replacement on the Superman DVD boxset (faulty Superman III) so she didn't need my old Blu of Revolutions. Gotta love Warner.... sometimes.

OK, so i still have yet to watch the set, but last night after reading this thread, i poped in Revolutions and went right to the spot... Didn't notice anything. So I double checked to make sure i had the right time of the error, rewound and watched again..still nothing

Then i decided to go frame by frame and only then did i notice what one might call a slight jump and to be honest, the slight movement of Neo's foot from Smith's chest to head comes in the middle of a flash of lightning and i would sum it up to the strobe effect of the light behind them as to why it looks like a frame jump... its virtually untetectable even at frame by frame and not even there when watching the movie at normal speed..at least on my copy this is a moot point and i don't feel the need to replce my copy

I use a PS3, so maybe the error is smoothed out on there, or perhaps my disc is unaffected, because to my eyes, my Disc has no error

Is it veryfied that every disc was bad or was it just an American thing ?(i'm in Canada and bought the set in canada)

You know you can trade those in for Blu versions right? Actually you just send WB the cover art or something. Red2Blu is what I think it's called. Look around the forum you'll find details.

I would do it but I never bought any HD DVDs.

The PS3 does smooth the issue considerably - whereas some other players play the faulty frames and display large green macroblocks, the PS3 simply skips those frames (hence the 'jump' you notice).

I don't know if I would have noticed it if no one brought it up, but I knew what was wrong as soon as I actually paid attention to that timestamp - in full motion, not frame by frame. And now it's one of those things I can't unsee, like the damn arrow in the Fedex logo. I'm glad to be getting a fixed copy.
