I gave it 4 stars, it really a 3 star movie, but hopefully the 4 stars will encourage people to see it in 3D

Watched it this afternoon with a movie pass I got from the RED Blu I purchased from BB a couple of months ago. It was a $12 movie pass and still had to pay 75 cents as it was $12.75 admission-- a lot for a matinee (usually $5.50 matinee at the same theater for non-3D films). There were less than 10 people in the theater. I didn't expect much from this movie and I was still bored. It lacked the usual humor I expect from Nic Cage (enjoyed his performances more in Bad Lieutenant and The Sorcerer's Apprentice last year). The 3D effects were okay but a lot of slo-mo stuff I've seen better like in the movie Wanted. Glad I didn't pay for it or I would have rather watched Rango, Beastly, Take Me Home Tonight or The Adjustment Bureau. A couple of good flicks next weekend, too-- Red Riding Hood and Battle:Los Angeles.

My rating for this movie: 2/5

Wow. Exact same with me. I got te free pass from the BB exclusive RED, saw it yesterday for free in 3D, thought it was stupid. It wa fun though, for the most part.

There were a couple of funny scenes but even those seem trying too hard. It was like watching a really bad episode of Supernatural with a bigger budget. Thank God for Amber Heard; it made the movie more tolerable. She was hot although I wished she had nudity in it as well.

I saw this last night. It pretty much kicked ass from beginning to end. William Fichtner who plays The Accountant was awesome. The movie doesn't take itself too seriously, but enough so you buy into it. I'm not a big fan of the 3D. But it actually worked here and added to the fun. I'm chuckling thinking back on it, there were some great scenes. I'm definitely buying this on BD when it comes out.

BTW, I used my free ticket offer I got when I bought the RED bluray. So I only had to pay for one ticket. I told the wife she better stop being such an expensive date, I needs a new Charger.
