Animal House is an icon. Good Will Hunting is a superior movie imo, but I'm not sure if it qualifies as a college movie.

PCU is also way underrated.

haha agreed, all but a few of the movies on the list are absolutely terrible, but I think that has more to do with unoriginality and trying to be like Animal House than anything else. It is just a genre that is riddled with cliches and unorginality. At the same time, it is a popular genre and you certainly can't fault Czar with creating the poll, despite the several obvious omissions.

I liked Accepted. I watched it the same time I was starting college so I can relate to it.

Really I like 11 of the 16 I listed!! That aint a bad ratio!! Ofcourse the highschool list is much better but still!! Got Em!!

Understandable, especially when it involves a prep school. I thought for awhile that School Ties was a college film, but recently found out it wasn't.

Well, if memory serves, it starts at their college graduation party, and is all about the transition from college to life. If that doesn't qualify as a college movie, then life isn't worth living.

There is a Porkys remake coming, its called Porkys: College Years, however its going straight to DVD and probably wont be very good.

Animal House is the best in my opinion. First, because it practically invented the genre, but also because there isn't an unfunny sequence in the whole movie. Also, stupid as this sounds, it's smarter than most of the rest. That's why Real Genious would be my #2, because it isn't all about ****ing in beers and farting.

Sadly not one of the films on this list stands the test of time. The once great Animal House and Back to School are no longer funny to me. The same can be said about most comedies though that are over 10 years old.
