I Did not rate Cloverfield one bit, but Star Trek was very enjoyable. A follow up for the 2009 Star Trek for me, can't call it Star Trek II as that was Wrath of Khan wasn't it?

I'm in this strange position where I absolutely loved Cloverfield, and wasn't terribly impressed with Star Trek, yet I would much rather see a ST sequel, for two reasons...

1. Cloverfield, in my opinion, DOES NOT need a sequel.
2. Even though I was pretty disappointed, I did somewhat enjoy Star Trek, and can see potential in building a new series. I wouldn't mind seeing another one.

For the record, I watched Cloverfield again, and it was actually better the 2nd time. I know my standards were way to high for the 1st viewing which likely tainted it for me. Second viewing was much more enjoyable. I woudln't change my vote, but do look forward to a sequel.

Was not very impressed with Cloverfield. Sorry.

Star Trek was pretty good though.

Would like him to do another Mission:Impossible movie. Loved #3

Star Trek II

The only way Cloverfield could have been redeemed was to be made in EXACTLY the fashion that District 9 was created. And, now that District 9 has completely and utterly satisfied my long list of gripes with Cloverfield, there is no need for a Cloverfield II.

I still, to this day, feel ripped off from having paid $6.95 to see Cloverfield in theatres!
