I have not been a fan of sitcoms (TV is difficult to please me), they focus on a drier nature and rather forced sense of humor (It has to be really good for me to ignore the laughs), I think a more natural sense of humor, yet going for the over the top when not being over the top, I think that is why I enjoy television shows such as Everybody loves raymond, the pacing is just pitch perfect, yet they don't behave as much in a show, but I enjoy it's more problematic characters, like Married with children or the Simpsons, but it's satire is less obvious, I enjoy it more because it doesn't behave like a satire, but rather it's different. Letting the humor be within the picture, not taking advantage of it, even if it can take that advantage on some epidsodes.

Funny I was thinking the exact same thing about Seinfield.

I have been watching it for about a year in syndication. And while I find the situations the characters get into interesting, I also very rarely laugh during the episodes at all. I don't see what the attraction to this show is.

But...to each his own.

I'll tell you another sitcom that I grew up loving was "Coach." I thought Craig T. Nelson and Jerry Van Dyke were so funny together on that show!

Another show that I liked a lot was "Wings." I thought that one was a little underrated.

+1 I dont know how people like Seinfield? I mean I never liked Friends either but I can see how it may be funny but I just never got into. Seinfield on the other hand was dry comedy and it wasnt funny at all! Thats just me though. Got Em!!
