I love the Gilmour BD but Pink Floyd in Concert - Pulse is better IMO. An incredibly moving tribute to Syd Barrett, a spectacular visual presentation, and if I'm not mistaken, the only released recording of Dark Side of the Moon played in its entirety.

I agree but as I said previously, I'd like this with the unrelease "The Wall - Live at Earle's Court". That way you get both The Wall and The Dark Side of the Moon.

Overall, Pink Floyd/David Gilmour seems to be a strong favorite on here...someone should create a group for them on here.....maybe something like...Blu-ray Forum - Pink Floyd

Two entirely different productions that can't be compared. But alas yes, the Pulse concert is fantastic.

The Killers: Live from the Royal Albert Hall
The Police: Cerifiable
John Mayer: Where the Light Is

I was generally blown away by all of these.
I completely agree. I love WT and this BD was worth every penny. Even if you do have to pay a little more to import it since it's not available in the states.

Pulse is excellent, but as far as Floyd without Roger Waters goes, I like the Delicate Sound of Thunder concert even better. My favorite Dark Side of the Moon song performances are in the Roger Waters "In the Flesh Live" video. The backup musicians are phenomenal, and long time Clapton associate Doyle Bramhall II plays the "Gilmour parts".

I'd be interested in that too. For now I just have to deal with the copy on my DVR. Tom Morello looked like he felt a bit out of place at the end, when everyone came out to play one last song (I don't remember, but I think they played Higher and Higher).

I agree that there are some other superior performances of certain songs in other videos, but the overall presentation of Pulse, with the deco, lighting, video screen, lasers, the UFO at the end, etc., make it my personal favorite.

I don't know if I've seen In the Flesh Live, I will check it out

I'm ol' school on this. To me, the key word here is "film"...so for me, my favorite concert film would be SIGN O' THE TIMES...from Prince.

The new Killers on blu is amazing. I have most of U2's which are phenomenal. Springsteen live in New York in 2000, the reunion concerts is my favorite though.

Hell even if it had the same material as the DVD that would be fantastic (assuming they did a good job with the sound transfer). That DVD is great, especially the Royal Albert Hall sequence.

To all fellow Floyd fans definitely check out Live at Pompeii(Director's Cut), Echoes alone is worth the $15 asking price.

As for Blu Ray David Gilmour: Remember That Night is tremendous, PQ aside just an incredible set list with AQ that will knock your socks off. Plus no ones plays the Stratocaster like Gilmour!

Some Favorites in my collection.......

Leftover Salmon, "Years in Your Ears"
Talking Heads, "Stop Making Sense"
The Band, "The Last Waltz"
Widespread Panic "Live at Oak Mountain" (the double disc one, it's older, I think it's Oak Mountain...... )
Neil Young.... Every-one I own...
Bob Dylan "MTV Unplugged"

I have every Concert/film/DVD released by the Grateful Dead, Phish, and Widespread Panic...... They're all great!

I also have a Tea-Leaf Green DVD, but again, forget the name.
