If there was no exclusive content/extras then there would be no point in buying the complete collection instead of the separate seasons.

But why should there be? The Complete Collection is a way for people to buy the whole thing at once if they haven't already purchased the individuals - and it's normally cheaper than the summed cost of the individuals.

People buying the individual seasons are the ones who supported the show up to this point. They offset the encoding and authoring costs of the whole series (as those discs will now just be reused, putting the associated costs to $0 for the complete set). They made the show the number one selling TV-on-BD set. And now they're essentially being punished?

Really, how many people will actually rebuy the complete series if they already own all the individual sets? A very small number. Are those few sales worth all the loss of goodwill from the fanbase as a whole? The majority of owners of the individual sets will just illegally download the material.

I read somewhere that there will be one additional disc with about 4 hour exclusive content on it for the complete set. I have all 5 of them and paid average of $35 to each. I will probably pay a premium for the final season because I dont want to wait till its cheaper, I want to buy it as soon as its out. So my cost for complete seasons will be like $220-235. I dont think a 6 season complete collection will be cheaper than $200(see Battlestar with 4 seasons). I like the individual packaging anyway(for battlestar it was the only way to get all of them). I am sure someone will sell that bonus disc, a lot of folks dont care about extras they watch them once and sell them. Ohh I forgot to mention my season five is bestbuy exclusive with bonus disc so I am already +1

I bought all 5 individually and will watch the last season on ABC. I am nearly caught up just the last 3 discs of season 5 left. I should be done by the time the show airs Tuesday. I'll buy season 6 for completeness once it drops to 35-40 bucks.

That's if you add up all of the bonus features from Seasons 1 through 6. You can get all minus 2 hours of special features by buying the seasons separately. In other words, the only thing exclusive to the complete collection is this 2 hour special feature disc.
