Default My trip to Michael Myers' house (From Halloween)

Hey guys, I was fortunate enough to accomplish one of my life long goals of visiting the iconic house from my favorite movie of all time...Halloween. The house still sits in Pasadena, CA. I also visited the famous hedge and a few other surprises. See my pics below.

The window where little Michael peeked in at Judith and her boyfriend.

A nice front view. The house is actually a chiropractor's office now. They were going to tear it down until the current owner actually bought it for $1, and then moved it to it's new location (1000 Mission St).

The iconic steps where Michael walks up to murder his sister Judith. We actually just walked in and took the shot. Noone seemed to mind.

This is the "drug store" where Michael steals his mask. It's right across from the Myers house now.

This is the exact location of the famous opening scroll..."Haddonfield...Halloween". That's my daughter, so don't get any ideas guys.

The famous hedge where Michael was standing behind when "stalking" Laurie.

Very cool!! But I'm a little confused -- the house is alone on a sharp triangular corner? Isn't it in a row of houses in the movie?

EDIT: Nevermind! I just re-read your post -- I didn't catch that they had moved the house!

He explained that the house was to be torn down and was moved to a new location by the current owner.

It's actually a chiropractor's office now. They do get visitors all the time, but noone was there when I went, which was nice. I wanted to stay all day...it was just such an awesome experience.

Wow that house looks all done up nicely surprised it wasn’t demolished.

I guess that house is second to the Bates Motel!

Was you using a digital SLR camera?

Yeah I can see the nice shades of tone of colours shine and the details, looks marvellous better than my Ł50.00 point and shot digital camera.

So the house was totally relocated moved from its original foundation and placed elsewhere, wow.

It was a "William Shanter mask" that he stole, that was modified, just for the fans!

Its one of my favourite classic John Carpenter films that is only played once a year on you know what night!

Wow, being a mega-horror fan, I would love to go to the original house! Nice pictures! A couple months ago we went on a Hollywood Tour Bus ride and drove down the street where some of the filming took place. It was really neat! Here's some pictures:

A street where the girls were walking:

Not sure if this picture is of a house that has any significance to the movie, but I believe it is that is the house that she runs away from in the chase? Don't know, but oh well lol:

Not a great picture, sorry (we were in a moving vehicle lol) but this is the house (to the left) where Michael falls off off of and disappears...
