I was hoping I could rent this from Blockbuster. They had 10 copies on DVD and none on Blu Ray. Really does suck... Will have to just buy it now!

I haven't laughed so hard at a movie in a looong time. This movie is well worth the $25 asking price at walmart, hands down.

I honestly can't remember the name of the film but there was a similar situation about 2 years ago. This film came out on DVD/Blu-ray and both the studio and retailers did not realize the following the film had and they did not make enough copies for the initial sell date. They then had to quick press a bunch of copies and get them out to stores right away. I just wish I could remember what movie it was.

Well based on the reviews, ordered mine along with 2001. Should get it when get back from vacation.

Blockbuster has something new called direct access... so if there's a title not available in the store they can send it to you from the online distribution center for $3.99... no online membership required.

for those that can't find it for rent and don't care that it's on DVD you can find it in Red Box. Just found one and got it.

I'm honestly (and pleasantly) surprised that this even GOT a Blu-ray release from Sony, the company that reneged on the Oscar-nominated Bright Star Blu-ray in January...

Most of them are but mistakes such as the car accidentally driving off (during the donut place scene) was an accident they kept because it kept with the tone of the film.

I listened to the commentary and all mistakes were made on purpose, kind of a Grindhouse thing. I noticed the boom in one shot. Funny stuff.

Yeah if you pay attention to the fight scenes, they're not even hitting each other. They're missing it badly.

Like this is intelligent bad. It takes the things that entertains us and laughs with us. Great movie, disappointed no nominations. The grindhouse effect was added after the movie was filmed.

Most Grindhouse films were like that. If you check some out on the IMDB, the ratings are low as hell on them.
