That's pretty much the feeling I have. I was planning on sitting down in front of my PS3 for a few hours after I get out of work later but it doesn't look like I'll be doing that now unless it gets fixed before I get home.

Yeah, this is a bit of a flaming disaster. It appears to affect most non-Slim (a couple non-BC units seem to be working last I checked) PS3s, and it doesn't matter if they're connected to the internet or not. Looks like a system clock bug, since it started at midnight GMT. Apparently messes up DRM on all PSN downloads (some games still play in demo mode), and renders a fair number of disc-based games unplayable even if you've never connected to the internet.

Okay, I have two fat PS3s, the original 60GB model and the 80GB motorstorm model, and I am having issues connecting to PSN right now along with my Heavy Rain dynamic theme not working.

.......and I was gonna do some Bio Shock 2 mp tonight. Suppose if I need an online fix, I can always dust off Metal Gear Online (seeing that the game doesn't run on the PSN).

This seems to be a huge problem, not simply PSN is down type of thing. I completed a level on Braid and didn't even get a trophy. Remember you can get trophy by being offline, there's also talks about corrupt data, freezing, etc and honestly this is really a horrible time for this type of problem. Not that it's ever good but the timing is just horrible.
