I haven't had a chance to see this movie so an early BD rental will have to do.

That's what I was gonna say. I don't remember what exactly it said, but it was something about it being released quickly so that it still has the audiences attention or something. Some movies don't have to worry about that though.

Nobody knows. That's the point. This random-ass website didn't magically scoop a super early release date (and June 30 is a wednesday btw, that should be your first clue).

lol, a similiar such website had the Sherlock Holmes release date a week after it's cinema release, and it was entirely correct. Point is, you don't really know, your just guessing. It's the best info we have so that's what is the date said on this thread.

Are there any big release set for the end of June or the start of july, if not that could be a big reason to release it early (especially if there are many big releases later on).

Some people where saying that the suggested release date would be to early, but it was released 26th March in England, so that would me a three months turn around, which is becoming more common.

the way releases have been coming out recently i wouldnt be surprised if Kick Ass came out that soon. its already not in the theaters anymore, and theyd probably try to milk whatever they could from the remaining hype.

HELLO. It's not june 30th. It's not a Tuesday. That is the biggest clue that you can have. EVERY new release hits Tuesday.

i live in ny, and the theater in my town still has it playing... thats why i cant believe this source, because its still in theaters

Umm twilight: New moon was a friday or saturday when that came out. About 97% of movies are on a tuesday.

They released it on Saturday because it's target audience is in school on Tuesday.

Whatever day they release it on will be Kick-Ass Day!

Actually the most telling sign was when Matthew Vaughn talked about adding 20 minutes of cut scenes to make it a director's cut. If he didnt have the cut already done they'd never get it burned by June. Im going with VideoETA and August.
