Support Blu-ray on August 28th!

Unfortunatly if you check out amazon today hd-dvd is kicking blu-rays butt!!!! hd-dvd had over 20 titles in the top 100 at one point today..blu-ray barely had 10 titles....why do people settle for inferior technology such as hd-dvd?????

It is what it is. We all do our part. I buy movies weekly not only to support bluray, but also because I'm a format fanatic. Anywho, my guess is that the months of September and October will be the months bluray strikes back. Some big titles coming up in these months...esp. the week of October 23rd. Have no fear, Bluray will prevail.

I've consulted the oracle....she said..."Pray to the winds, HDUD will fall...All Of HDUD will fall".

Universal and Micorsoft are taking advantage of Amazon's sale. It's the only explanation.

Tally for the last 2 days is 18 for me. If they fix the Prestige on Amazon I'll order another group of 3 for sure. Meanwhile, I'm considering a few others for today...

If I buy some more today I'll just update this post in case anyone is keeping track of the buy-a-thon numbers.

Keep buying folks...I don't think a deal like this will pop up again until Black Friday. Even then, it won't be a deal on such a wide selection.

I found out today that the speakers I had on order finally showed up at Best Buy. When I go pick them up after work tonight I will break down and finally buy Goodfellas to support the cause. I had been holding off on that one because many people said it wasn't the greatest transfer. It is one of my favorite movies though, so I might as well throw in some Blu support

For the sales numbers on eproductwars, just remember the BD deal includes 105 movies vs 55 HD DVDs, so our sales are spread out over nearly 2x as many titles!

We are doing awesome! This is the week that HD DUD was supposed to blow us away and we are going to win it by over 60% of sales. Has anybody bothered to look at the release dates for the formats in the upcoming month and a half? It's not even close! The HD DUD boiz can only dream of what we are going to be getting. Yes, I wish we had Paramount. However, we got better! Blades of Glory sucks anyways! A lot more exclusies, and much better catalog titles for Blu.

Well it all looks really good on my Sony TV, What more did you want though? I own like 32 Blu Rays atm, how many Blu do you currently own? Anyways a day later I picked up Ghost Rider today as well as The Patriot. I would have gotten Blade and Heros on Blu Ray though, it's just that I couldn't find 'em so I ended up getting them on HD DVD.
