The extended Blu-ray is coming out soon in Scandinavia. Denmark 26th Oct, Norway 27th Oct and Sweden 3rd Nov, apparently. The back of the case says Region A & B, and English subtitles included. Though I have yet tested the disc for confirmation.

If it does truly come out on the 14th, that will end up being the third new release arriving from Amazon on that day. They may be starting to pile up. ![]() |

The release date on this site is usually correct. I've seen many titles listed as "no release date" on Amazon ended up released on the Blu-ray.com's date.

I agree that this site is usually correct. They tend to wait to put a date until they know it is true. The only thing keeping me from saying it is coming out then for sure is the lack of a press release, but the 14th seems believable since it isn't likely coming out in November anymore. I think the only date this site probably has wrong for the upcoming releases is Salt.

saw the extended cut last night. Not going to comment on PQ/AQ, but the extended cut SUCKS!!!!, lets just put it that all the deleted scenes that they added back in NEEDED to have been deleted. there wasn't an added scene that didn't take away from the story, drag it down or was just stupid. the theatrical cut is a much more seamless and smooth story.

good to hear that. although the amazon preorder link product description
actually lists "extended feature 15min" as one of the extras, an extended cut in not necessarily always the better one! people just usually connect more action or gore with it, but ever so often its just boring deleted scenes (which noone needed in the first place) edited back in. i've also already read a loud outcry of protest in the knight and day threat, that other countries are receiving an extended cut, but until i know what is actually missing in comparison to the theatrical version i am very relaxed about it. probably the same joke as with what you just described the a-team extended cut to be ![]() |
