Rio 3D, Ice Age and Narnia are all up at the Best Buy website - each at a pre-order price of $39.99 and a release date of 8/30 (not 8/2). Here is a link to Rio:

I need to add Rio to my queue. The previews looked so bad that I did not bother to see it in theatres. I almost never go to see movies anyway. But it's in 3D.

Looks like Fox finally officially announced all three. (Narnia 3, Rio and Ice Age 3) Cover Art is available.
Too bad Blu-ray.com didn't report it yet...I had all the info posted way earlier!

From the Digital Bits...

20th Century Fox has also announced Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD and Digital Copy Combo versions of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Rio on 8/30 (SRP $49.99 each).

Rio should be pretty good in 3d.. i have only seen the 2d version.. but there are some moments that should really work well in 3d.

these prices for 3D need to drop especially in canada, 36.99 for most 3D blu-rays up here.

I am not paying that I don't care how good the movie is.

It's the Unwritten Law that a 3-D edition MUST contain the 2-D Blu-ray, and the 2-D Blu-ray MUST contain the DVD, and both MUST contain the Digital Copy.
Change that law, and maybe the 3-D's won't come out as 4-disk editions at 4-disk prices.

(Seriously--Why not just market the 3-D edition as a sort of peripheral to the "main" 2-D/DVD edition, and sell it as a 3D+2D 2-dsk?
Or, at least, that won't happen until we have widespread tech acceptance.)

That makes too much sense. Personally, I only care about the 3D+2D blu ray, I do not need the digital copy and DVD.

I agree to a certain extent. However, keep in mind there are those who would want to put the movie onto an iphone itouch or other device without wanting to pay another 20 dollars for a download. I like having the option of taking the movie with me in that form, but not if it significantly drives up the price

I do as well, I have an iPad 2 that I use a lot for movies, but I don't need the digital copy if it also comes with a DVD. My friend's husband will rip the DVD's for me, and they do not expire. But I do not want those things when they drive the cost up. Companies will get money any way they can.

According the UK Amazon site, this would be the official cover:

The other one found on 3D specialized sites is this one, which I think is more realistic for the 3D edition:

I hope someone put a cover image on the coming soon blu ray review
