Sid and Nancy Blu-ray

Sid and Nancy Blu-ray Review

Was just at Best Buy and they had 3 copies of the Gary Oldman movie Sid and Nancy on Blu Ray. Can't find anything on the web about this. It's not even on the Best Buy website. Price tag said $24.99 but when I looked it up on the Best Buy computer, it said $14.99. Distributed by MGM if that helps.

I found three at the Tanazbourne store in Oregon. It was not on the shelf I had to ask for it and they had no clue what I was talking about.
The clerk looked it up found 2 in stock and all Portland stores had 2-3 copies showing in stock.
He went to the back and came back 10 minutes later with it. It was in a box.
Best Buy needs to clue thier employees in about this.

I love how best buy just puts these out like everywhere has them. not even mentioning that they are exclusive or even announcing the release

So, true. I'm a huge Gary Oldman fan I wanted to add this to my collection for years. So imagine my shock when i walk by and see this on the shelf.

He is my favorite actor as well. He was really good in this film

Just came back with my copy, they had only 1. Thanks to the OP for this, as it is one of my favorites. We will see what PQ/AQ this has tonight...

Great movie. I have the Criterion DVD. I will probably hold out for that on BD, but if you've never seen it, definetly check it out.

Wow, I hope some other MGM titles show up as unexpected exclusives as well. The Burning, The Fog, The Howling, Jeepers Creepers, Scanners, etc. Yeah, I like my horror.

I wonder when they are going to start releasing Woody Allen's 70s movies.

From the 70s, I would definitely buy Annie hall, Manhattan and Sleeper. I really can't think of one of his 80s movies I would just have to own on Blu Ray.
