ps3. i have the 360 120gb HDMI, i had the ps3 it broke and i got a stand alone blu-ray. im getting the ps3 back, 40gb i think, and thinking about selling my 360. ps3 just feels like it has so much more power. play resistance vs. halo 3. halo 3 pop up, not smooth playing, and poor load times. resistance is pure amazing. so much happening on screen at the same time and it just plays so smoothy. i posted beforer saying that halo 3 was better than resestance and i really want to take it back. not as good as resistance, not even close.

I just bought a 60-gig PS3. I was actually leaning towards the cheaper xbox 360 since I already have a standalone bluray player, but all the chatter about poor 360 reliability scared me off. Plus the PS3 just seems like such a nice piece of gear next to that white plastic xbox.

I realize you are trying to counter waht you view as misinformation but you are missing the far, far bigger point here. In debating the return process with him, you have underscored the fact that pretty much every XBOX owner, even those who love it, admit they go through the dreaded process at some point. Oh right, it isn't quite as dreaded as he made it sound. That's a win... er, I guess.

If I were a neutral guy trying to make up my mind, your unintentionally counterproductive defense would have convinced me to never consider an XBOX.

Great games on the xbox360:
Everyone says how the xbox360 has such great games and then lists three only -- Gears, Bioshock, and Halo.

If it has so many great games, then why do people only list three or seven games only? That's great games? Three to seven???

And they're all on PC's or will be on PC's or will be ported to the PS3 if not already, like Graw2, Oblivion, COD4, and so on.

EGM and CNET confirmed it.

Coupled with one of hte worse picture quality on the market and no movies to watch with on HD-DVD, I don't see why any one would buy the HD-DVD add-on at all. Let alone buy an xbox360 to use it as a passable home theater substitute.

Haze PC/360 version was dropped with only the PS3 version surviving the cut. And Final Fantasy on PC? What, FFXI? That's an MMO, not a true FF game.

While there are FF spin offs going to Nintendo products, none yet reported for Microsoft and the heart of the series, the Final Fantasy series, is remaining PS3 exclusive.
