Have seen all the big film openings since 1975's Jaws (Star Wars, Empire, Jedi, Raiders, E.T, Blade Runner etc..). So I would say that I would have loved to see the opening of Casablanca at the Hollywood Theater in New York City in Nov of 1942.

Star Wars was one of the first movies I ever saw at a theater, it was 1977 and I was 7 years old. I cannot remember much other than just that I went to see it at a theater. And I saw Back to the Future at a drive-in theater with my aunt in 1985 when I was 15, I still remember how much I loved it and today I still love Back to the Future. Now we come to Jaws, which I saw in a drive-in theater with my mom and dad, it is quite literally the first movie that I can remember seeing, I was 5 years old and my parents were basically kids too as they were 21 and 22 years old each.
.....today I am going on 42 years of age. ![]() ![]() Anyhow, if I could go back in time id see To Kill a Mockingbird (62') and The African Queen (51')..........and one more, Psycho (60'). |
