Definitely picking this up, Indicator has been on a roll!
I picked up Body Double, Vampires, and Ghosts of Mars and have been impressed by the picture quality and extras.

Is it just me or does Lee Remick look like Keri Russell in that top right picture?

Maybe just a bit.
Also, I'm guessing this is better PQ than TT?

You guys sure know how to piss on someone's parade. This is on TCM and my mom was watching it, missed the beginning. As I'd just ordered a coupla Glen Ford flicks, I jumped on the site only to find that this was a TT release, long sold out. Decided to check eBay - new copies were high and going higher, except for one guy who had it at $29.95 +$2.99 S/H.

So, I rarely leap, but I leaped - only to come here to find out about this Indicator release, which Amz.UK has for about $9 less ... Moral of the story: NEVER leap!

On the bright side, you should be able to flip that OOP TT copy for a profit and still get the Indicator.

Is there any reliable indication that the Indicator is better? It certainly got a good review here ...

DVD Beaver says the Indicator transfer is slightly better than the TT one. I got the TT edition, but now wish I had the Indicator edition.

Chalk it up to two different reviewers. The indicator release has a few extra features; audio commentary and interview. Screen caps of the two can be found here:

I hate screen caps. One part looks better for one version, another part of the same pic looks better from the other. *sigh* In any case, the seller was kind enough to cancel the sale and I'm back to square one. I'll probably go with the Indicator. They both have booklets, but the Indicator is 30% cheaper with a couple of better extras (although I do think the Twilight Time cover is nicer and it's always nice to have something that's OOP).

I don't have the TT one to compare it to, but the Indicator blu looks beautiful, don't just judge on screen caps alone - in some cases blemishes you see in screen caps can't be seen in motion.
I've loved Indicator's releases so far, they put a lot of care into them and even the booklets are nice. So far I own this one, Vampires, Ghosts of Mars, Lady from Shanghai, Body Double, and the Sinbad box set.
From one physical media fan to another, who cares if something is OOP if there is a better one readily available??? PLUS the Indicator blu is limited (I think to 3,000) and then will be OOP - it will be reissued after that minus the DVD and the booklet. And it's Region free to boot.
So imho the Indicator version is the right choice, hope my thoughts above help!

I would have thought this an obvious one for a 4k from Sony.

Here's to praying enough people buy the new release so we can get a 4k, I already have the Indicator release and don't see anything about new (or any) bonus features so I'll probably hold on to my indicator.

I am perplexed by the new release. I baulked at the initial price; then I dropped to $13 (!). So I picked it up. Why would they release a bare bones blu-ray when they have a “recent” 4k scan? And it’s a MOD to boot.
