What's the most "American" film you've seen? - Blu-ray Forum

What's a movie you've watched that you feel represnts the american people, culture, and spirit? Perhaps it's a hollywood blockbuster with explosions, machine gun fire, and cheesy one-liners. Or maybe it's something more dramatic, patriotic, and plays with your heartstrings.

Now you can only select one movie (I know we could all make a list).

I would probably pick something like a Roland Emmerich Film or one with a soundtrack done by James Horner...

Whatever, I'll select APOLLO 13.

By the way, I'm Canadian

Really people? I mean I don't mean to get political, but seriously you don't have any better ideas of movies to define America? I realize our country has its issues, but Supersize Me and Idiocracy? I believe my country is great and it has the potential to improve on those things that it is lacking in. I'm hardly the most Conservative person ever, but I'm shocked to see such negative connotations from people I so frequently agree with.
