i agree...since 2.0 she hasn't changed..

the change i am stating is from the 1st album to 2.0..

She had short blonde hair for beautifulgarbage, and her hair was down for Bleed Like Me. You missed some years in between 98 and 2013, just sayin.

I've been around since the beginning and I have seen no change whatsoever. They have always done what they wanted. They make their music. I don't have any idea what changes you are referring to.

Garbage - Sex Is Not The Enemy (Official HD Music Video) - YouTube
she has good looks for her videos...but when she actually plays live she changed from the young spunky sexy chick to a different kind of chick on each tour. but to me the 1st look was always the one ill like best.

There is only one good response to someone using the "sold out" argument.

RudyC is trolling. A couple of posts on how much Garbage sucks and Shirley's ugliness (two viewpoints I couldn't disagree with more) are enough. Now it's just getting repetitive and this thread isn't about bashing the band for pages.

Maybe he just needed some filler and that is what he came up with.

I assume you don't read his reviews very often as inexplicable openings are a Kauffman idiosyncrasy.

Oh, is he the one who does that? I recall several reviews I've read in the past that were full of non sequiturs but don't bother memorizing the reviewers' names.

It is a bit of an anemic review. Did not even bother to include the set list or detail/critique any of the bonus features.

If you want to review the extras just go to YouTube, they're all on the bands official channel (plus other featurettes that didn't make it for some unknown reason) except the one minute long pre-show warm-up. The extras really are a poor line up, especially compared to Absolute Garbage.

The lack of a setlist was surprising. He usually does that, but it's not a big deal to me since I already have this on my shelf.

In the end, I'm just glad he gave it a pretty glowing review.

After seeing how short most of everything is, I would have to agree. When this release was announced, it seemed like it was going to be a pretty stacked release given the amount of special features listed.

Still, I'm glad the two music videos from the latest album were included. That is too uncommon with concert Blu-rays.

The Garbage review is one of our site's newer shorter reviews that are meant to give a quick overview of content without the more in depth analysis that our longer reviews offer. That is also why only 5 screenshots are included. That is the reason no set list is presented and why I don't describe the bonus features. Many concert Blu-rays, while they appeal to band fans, tend not to have the general interest of other, more mainstream, releases and the site has asked us reviewers to offer shorter reviews for these specialty titles. That way fans can at least have an idea of whether or not a release is worthwhile.

Yes, it was actually the 2.0 track I was referring to.

The LPCM 2.0 track sounds loud and clipped... check out the bass drum in Automatic Systematic Habit. I was watching on my computer with headphones, so the 2.0 track seemed like the natural choice. I wasn't too impressed.

As for the performances, I thought they were decent but Duke made a few obvious blunders on the guitar (Hammering In My Head, for example). Butch and Eric were rock solid, as usual. Shirley sounded pretty good but there were a few spots where her voice went noticeably flat (Milk). Anybody notice the goof at the start of Cherry Lips where they show Eric tuning his bass but you can hear him playing?

I saw them this March in Toronto and I thought that show was great. Funny thing is if I end up seeing NIN this winter, it'll be the third band I've seen Eric Avery play bass for.

*edit*

haha Nice... just noticing this post now. I didn't get what that song was about when Ænima first came out. Now I laugh every time I hear it.

Eric pulled out of NIN a couple weeks ago.
