i've never used it but i suspect it would be a waste of money. i'm guessing its just registered mail witch canada post blocks tracking for on our end. canada post will only provide full tracking on shipments sent by an e.m.s level service from overseas or e-packet from china.

I've never had the need to use tracked shipping for Zavvi.

My Zavvi packages are usually okay with the cheap shipping.

I typically order one title at a time with Zavvi because this gives me maximum flexibility to cancel.

However lately, since the shipping has more than doubled, I've started grouping together titles that I am sure I want to save on shipping.

Update from my last post... I received 1 season the same week of Christmas.

Edit: And the missing 2 seasons arrived today in a small box from Jersey.

i ordered 2 orders one showed up 3 weeks late other didnt show up my wife ordered 2 orders showed up 2 and half weeks late
very slow used to be great from the uk
prices go up service gets worse

not really zavvis fault though this is canada post/customs who are delaying these package. had package take 3 months to show up.

Agree with that too that this seems to be on Canada Posts side, with these delays of products coming from the UK.

Also had a zavvi product, take a month and a half to arrive. Had another order as well, that is either missing or still stuck in the system, somewhere with the Canada Post system. (Would not surprise me at this point if it does show up, sometime in the future.)

Had an album come from pledgemusic, (basically kickstarter but for musicians, and when they ship their products (which are generally done from the UK) it takes at most 2 weeks, 3 at tops. Just had one item show up, after 59 days (was shipped in early November)

Really seems to a throw of the dice, as have had some items show up within a reasonable time frame and others taking longer to arrive.

I know Solo was never released in 3D here and that I'm missing it. And that I picked up TLJ from the UK last year.

I ended up placing to separate orders.

Got Incredibles 2 3D, Coco 3D, and Vertigo steelbook

Then Avengers: Infinity War 3D, Thor: Ragnorok 3D, and O Brother Where Art Though steelbook.

I noticed that Zavvi had some promo that steelbooks ship for free and anything else in your order will ship for free as well. So I definitely wasn't going to pass up that offer.

What are the shipping and or duty charges when ordering from Zavvi? never ordered from them before. and are there any promo's for free shipping? see you mentioned that, I ain't getting steelbooks tho.

Went with Thor Ragnarok 3D and IW 3D. As well as their nice looking Serenity SB (not sure what region but I will probably never open it as I have it 4x already) for free shipping. Total all in was just over C$51.

Doesn't Zavvi have one of the worst reputations for steelbook damage? I seem to remember on one of the older threads the complaints seemed never ending.

I've never received one damaged shipped to Canada

Order shipped out early morning. Each of the 3 items shipped separately.

They used to have SB issues but my last orders were fine. I believe they changed their shipping box and Amazon UK did as well.

I've ordered steelbooks from them for many years now. Only had two shipments come "damaged" and that was years ago when they were using those very thin brown cardboard/sleeve mailers for steelbooks. They've gone back to using those sturdy, thicker white cardboard mailers again and all my steelbooks have arrived in perfect condition.

Never had to pay any duty/customs fees either. Shipping can take anywhere between 2 and 3 (and the odd time 4) weeks.
