Does Zavvi remove the VAT like Amazon UK? Anyone ever have any duty charges when shipping to Canada?

They have some nice deals and always get some cool steelbooks but never ordered from them before.

No and No. I order something about every other month, never had an issue. Once you order once, they send out 10% off coupons fairly regularly.

(and its only 99 cents ) shipping
use paypal (so if some thing does happen you have insurance) (you can use credit card with them)

there good and they just got boxes for steelbooks i hear so less damaged steelbooks (which i had with a team and fight club but with paypal i got my money back

I'm actually not the Zavvi customer service department, but I suppose maybe something you bought wasn't eligible. I've never had a problem using a 10% code before, even for large items (like the UK Hitchock set).

EDIT: Did you pre-order anything? Pre-orders are definitely not eligible for discount codes.

Also if you want the 3D titles, it's 2 for £19.99....I ordered both Frozen and Maleficent. Been waiting for a deal on these 2 titles for quite some time.

the Disney BOGO is over, I'm pretty sure they've had it a few times since the previous post in March.. It ended the day before I decided to pull the trigger on some stuff..

But, with that said, they have a 2/£10 Promotion for some movies right now
Oddly, they had a 3D movie in there ..and one in the 2/£20 3D set, Same movie, but the one in the 2/£10 was the more expensive.. (Percy Jackson and the Sea Monsters)

So, I opted to get that and Van Damme's Hard Target... $22.50 shipped

Percy Jackson is $30+ here alone... and getting a RF player for christmas, and my gf wanted the movie... it's all turning up Milhouse.

Quick question - I know the site is UK so the only blu-rays that'll work for me are region A. However, I assume region free would work but are they NTSC? Or are they PAL for which I think do not work on my player.

as long as they're region free, they'll play.
Amazon has some players (from 3rd party sellers).. they're about 200-300 for a Sony/LG/Panasonic. the higher cost being ones that upconvert to 4K.. I just ordered one myself...

If the disc is region free and 1080p, it will play on any system, as NTSC/PAL is not a factor. Some of the extras may be encoded in PAL, however. You can check on here if anybody has marked the disc as region free or locked.
