Hmmm... that's a tough question. I have A LOT of DVDs, including a lot of TV season sets that aren't available on Blu-Ray. While I will choose Blu-Ray over DVD every time if the content is available on both formats, I still do buy DVDs when the content simply isn't available on Blu-Ray (again with this mostly applying to TV show DVDs).

Thankfully there's no real scenario where making such a decision will be necessary, so I'll just hang onto all of it!

I'd give up DVDs. I like the PQ/AQ of BDs too much to let them go.

Well This is a good question. I would first be very saddened that I had to make this choice. Then I would hand over My DVD's. And finally I would try to Upgrade my internet speed so that I could stream with decent quality Most of the T.V. shows and older movies that I don't have on Blu-ray yet.

To be fair I would probably be writing my congress man and the president to pass legislation both funding and requiring the imediate Archiving of all film and television media to Blu-ray as quick as possible .

Yes, bought one due to the low cost of the movies. Format died and deservedly so in about 16 months I think. Used a stylus like a record player and also skipped like a record player if it got dirty. Also had this rubber band thing I believe that broke inside the player. Thought it was a good idea to buy one at the time ....

As far as the main topic of this thread goes, DVD's must Die ...
